peppers!!

hi, I have been reading all your post on bell peppers and my mouth is watering.I cant wait to go the market to get some peppers.
I would love you all to send me all your recipes that u use to cook peppers.There are many things i am not aware of.Like groung meat???What is that, i mean is it pork??.If i get pork chops how can i go about cooking with thremwith them???Plese write in detail so that i can then shop properly.

it is usually done with beef, but there is no reason why you couldn't use ground pork, but ask the butcher to mince it up for you, you don't want to spend the money on pork chops, it is minced meat that you use.

I use ground beef or a mixture of ground beef and ground pork. Add some cooked rice and tomato sauce, then bake them in a baking pan for about an hour at 350 degrees.
Remember to remove the seeds and soften the peppers by filling them half full of water and microwaving for about 5 minutes before stuffing them with the meat mixture. You can boil them instead but that takes longer.
I also lay a slice of american cheese over the tops of each one before baking.
