Kids can be so entertaining, funny and yet frusterating. Have your kids ever done something that was so unbelievably frusterating at the time but as you look back at it all you can do is laugh? Yup. I'm going to share the 3 day bathroom cleanup story. So my kids were 2, 3, and 4. Yes I had them THAT close. We lived in a huge duplex apartment. Our apartment had 4 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom upstairs. Downstairs was 2 living rooms, a dining room, a big kitchen, and an entryway. When you were downstairs you could shut the hallway door to cut out sound. This one night we put all the kids to bed. Read them stories and tucked them in. Hubby and I then went downstairs and closed the door to watch some tv. At the second commercial I needed to use the bathroom so I went to the hall door and opened it to head upstairs. As soon as I opened it i could hear giggling. I turned to my husband and said "let's go bust them" with a smile. So we snuck upstairs and quietly headed for the bedroom of the two boys. We listened but no giggling, it was further down the hall. We get to the bathroom door. It was closed and we could hear them giggling. We popped it open and our jaws just hit the floor. There sat our two youngest in a puddle of shampoo, conditioner, skin so soft, soft soap, bubble bath and whatever else they could get open. It was everywhere. Up the walls, on the toilet, sink and tub, covering all of the unopened bottles, inside the cupboards. But there in the center are these two beatiful children covered in bubbles. What could we do. We took a deep breath (more to keep from laughing than screaming) and we carefully slid our way across the bathroom. It took 5 baths to get it all off them. Every time we would put them in the water it would just bubble up and become soap again. lol. Finally we got them uncovered and put to bed. 3 days later the bathroom was the cleanest you will EVER see my bathroom. lol So have your kids ever done something that just made you want to laugh and scream all at the same time?

I'm so glad I can bring the Ernest Hemmingway out in you through my stressful days :D I really don't know, I'm still living those moments, and have many many many more to come. The only story that really comes to mind, and it's not that bad, just one of those embarassing "kid's say the darndest things" type moments. My oldest was 4, still an only child (oh the good ole days). He, my husband and myself were eating at Olive Garden that night (again, the good ole days). Well in walks this larger lady... and since the place was just so gosh darn quiet, my son decides to say at the top of his lungs... "WOW! That's a BIG lady!" Check Please!

Oh yes all the time!! My youngest especially is a bit of a monkey and always looking for mischeif I swear her big sister wasnt so bad! My youngest is just turned 2 and she recently moved into a bed rather than a cot, she has been doing ok annoying her big sister A LOT lol but yes not so bad until the night before last where she emptied all the drawers, stripped off and when I went up there she was sat naked on her sisters bed with her sisters knickers on her head, two pairs to be exact! I was frustrated because she had flung everything everywhere but she looked so so funny I couldnt help but laugh although I made her help clear up!

I'm pretty sure my kids live for things like this. When my oldest daughter was 3 years old, she decided to paint me a beautiful mural on the hallway wall...with her poop. It covered every square inch of the wall. After she had finished, she suddenly decided that it was disgusting afterall. She came running to me with her hands held as far away from herself as possible, crying for me to clean it up. Needless to say, I was cleaning poo out from under her fingernails for hours. It was hard to be mad, seeing the look on her face. I'm pretty sure she had punished herself anyways. (she dry heaved a few times while I was cleaning her up!) That same daughter, at five years old, is pretty obsessed with Dora the Explorer. She is convinced that she knows how to speak Spanish and this point. We were standing in a really long line at a grocery store when a Hispanic family got in line behind us. Off she went! Random sounds started spewing from her mouth, with intermitten statements about how much she loved Spanishland. I tried to hush her, but there was no use. It was the most awkward ten minutes of my life.

LOL that is so cute. I'm sure she is very sure of herself and I'm sure it was awkward for you but you have to admit now that it is adorable.
