The man tried to cash a 360 billion dollar check...
Tellers at the Fort Worth bank were immediately suspicious -- perhaps the 10 zeros on a personal check tipped them off.
Fuller, of suburban Crowley, was arrested on a forgery charge. He was released after posting $3,750 bail.
Fuller said his girlfriend's mother gave him the check to start a record business. But bank employees who contacted the account's owner said the woman told them she did not give him permission to take or cash the check.
In addition to the forgery count, Fuller was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon and possessing marijuana. Officers reported finding less than 2 ounces of marijuana and a .25-caliber handgun and magazine in his pockets.

He had to have been selling the weed. If he was smoking it he would have not been ambitious enough to attempt such a stupid thing. He would still be at home stuck to the couch playing video games. Some people are just dumb.

Sometimes it is better to smoke a bowl and give your ideas a good hard thought. Had he done that I think he would have realized what a dumb idea it was, laughed, and then fell asleep.

Sounds like a great start to his relationship with his mother-in-law!

Why would anyone be so stupid to even attempt to cash a check that large, and not expect that someone would look at it closely?
I probably couldn't go into my local credit union and try to cash something with half that many zeroes without several flags going up.

I heard about it because somebody else had posted this story a few days ago. I think the guy was very stupid to try something like this don't you?

I was reading about this guy. I was like dude, it didn't dawn on you that a 360 billion dollar check would raise a few eyebrows. Even after getting out of jail, and cleaning up his act, he will always be known as the idiot that forged a 360 billion dollar check. What a moron!!!

Oh my gawd!!! that is so hilarous!!
He has got to be the most stupid fraudster I have ever come across in the papers.
He actually thought that he could get away with that?!?
The pot must really have gotten into his head!
So how long was he put behind bars?
Wanted to read the article, but it is no longer valid.

i wonder if he wrote a check for the $3750.00 bail??
he is either very stupid, or REALLY wanted to get caught - DUH
you really want to forge a check, wouldn't you write it for a believable amount???
i wonder sometimes, if people do this stuff just to get in the news?

OMG. How stupid can one person be? Maybe if he hadn't been so greedy, he could have gotten away with it. What a joke. Maybe some time in jail will wake him up and make him pay attention.
