It would be great to see other peoples earnings here on mylot, for inspiration?

I think it would be really good if we could see peoples earnings on here. That way people would get inspired and mortivated to post more as it gives them a goal to work towards. I know newbies would probably love it as they are not sure how many posts roughly they need to write to reach payout. I know that everyones earnings is different as some people write more quality posts then others. But it still gives people an idea. What do you think about this idea about seeing peoples earnings? Would it inspire you or motivate you to write more? Or would you not like people seeing your earnings as you feel it is an invasion of privacy?

Hello there. I am just new here (a month and a week old- it think) and my earnings so far is good enough. I have reached $23 plus so far. Well for me, I really get motivated in mylot because there are lots of good discussion here... I enjoy it as well.

I think for a brand new member, which I am, it would be really good to be able to see that people are really earning money. The problem is that the web have million of scamming sites etc that all promise you make lots of money, without having to do hardly any work at all. Even the information of how you make earnings here is a bit abstract and people might wonder if this really works. Letting people know about each others earnings would be a good way both to improve the credibility of the site and to encourage more people to join!

I think it would be great also, however it seems alot of people don't like the idea as they believe it is an invasion of privacy, I respect their opinion. Alot of people however don't mind revealing when and how much payout they get, so that might motivate you. I have been paid twice here so far, around $10 - $12 a month. I have noticed for me I earn around 2cents a post most days, however mylot has a special formula here in which they work out payment method, so it varies. The more quality a post though pays better then writing one or two sentences. Hope this information helps you a little. I am happy next payout to give you a screenshot so you know this site pays.

whatever happened to privacy. not everybody wants to share their money issues at all. just remember to make lots of responses and make them good ones also make your discussions quality.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I understand the whole privacy issue, and I guess that also comes with being on here longer and have lots of friends. Obviously if you have lots of friends that you have referred you might not wanna tell them that you make money of of them. For a new member though the only way of knowing it is real is through experience or having several people telling you the same thing, that it is real! I mean, already by having this discussion I can feel a lot more reassured :) The privacy wouldn't be an issue if noone made any money, right!

ya it is indeed a nice idea. i do not think that it will in any way affect the privacy of the users as it will inspire us to do good at the discussions and earn more money..... so i do not think that it will affect any more. have a good day.

I think it would definately inspire some people too, however it seems that some people do want to keep their earnings private. Which i can respect that, I don't mind revealing my earnings as it is only about $10 a month, good pocket change.

Hi Kiran-I dont think I would support that idea as I would feel it would be an invasion of my privacy and though I may not of reached payout I have a high amount to reach before that as $'s in the UK are virtually only equivalent to half of that-blessings littleowl

I am not sure about that, I do not think that I would like everyone having a look at what I earn!! I do not think that it would inspire me to write more by seeing other peoples earnings, I know that mainly you have to have a lot of time to spend on here and you have to write good posts and so that is the main thing. I could not spend more time on here than I already do or else no one would ever see me!! I am on here loads as it is!!

Wow that is awesome, let me know lol when you decide to reveal your earnings, sounds like you have earnt a bit here. I have been earning about $10-$12 a month for past few months. If you don't mind me asking how many referrals do you have here?

I would not mind if others seen my earnings. However, I don't know that it would always be a motivation as there are times that I don't always earn good here as I don't have a lot of time to be on here. I have a lot of other things going on in my life right now and so I stay busy off of here and only get to do this for a few minutes at a time. However, I do think that if people could see that it is possible to make good money here, they would work harder at it.

Thats an interesting question. I really don't think I'd like everyone to see how much I'm making. Of course, if I was one of the big earners with lots of referrals I'd probably be proud of it. It might be an inspiration though to try to make more and keep up with others.

Yes I would be proud too lol if i was a big earner on here with lots of referrals. Even though I am not a big earner here I still don't mind others seeing what I earn just so they realise it is possible to make money here. I don't want to compete with anyone just curious that's all. But it seems alot of people here do not wish to reveal their earnings, which is fine I respect their opinion. Happy mylotting.

yes i think that would be really great, i also want to have a look what others are earning, as i earn only half dollar daily so that would really encourage me a lot, and also i want to know how many hours a person spends on mylot to earn that much earnings, really thats good idea

I think it is good idea too, but it seems that some people would not like others to see their earnings, that's okay. 50 cents a day is good earnings, congrats. I am averaging about 30 - 90 cents a day, varies all the time, depending on my activeness.

Hi Kiran! My earnings in 40 days is $1.53 only. I have done 76 posts (comments not included)so far. Most of my discussions eliciting best responses from rated ones! And i observe that almost any response by rated ones to any discussions getting Best Response tag - why I want to know. It seems you have done 817 posts but i find there is no rating mentioned there - why? I have found most of your discussions worth reading and responding to! but no rating - why? How it is given?

Hi snakequeen, do you mean the star rating? As i do have a 7 silver star. You will get your star rating when you reach 100 posts. I am glad that you also find most of my discussions worth reading, I am flattered. To rate people you press the plus sign next to peoples discussions and responses. When you get your star you hold your mouse over it to see what rating you have, mine is 73 out of 100. I have been paid twice so far by mylot, I earn roughly $10 a month sometimes little more. I reached my first payout when I hit about 400 posts. So hang in there it does take a while to reach payout. Your earnings are not bad so far, I think that is about average 2 cents per post, that is usually what I have been getting. Good luck to you.

Hi Kiran! Let me first say SORRY for having failed to note your silver rating. I wish you get the highest rating sooner. Thank you very much for spring your time for giving me very useful and elaborate information, i am not aware of so far! With inspiration from friends like you, i am confident of posting my ton (100) very soon, and beyond! Thank you once again.

It would probably make me feel bad about the small amount that I am earning for the amount of posts I am making since I have no active referrals. I am not against or for the idea really. I am neutral.

I have only been on here for a little over two weeks and my payout is half way mark to my payout. I personally don't compare my earnings w/ others for I like to challenge myself to see if I can get to my payout mark in the time aloted. I have set my earnings to $10.00 for I know I have a full time job and other things I need to do and know that I can't do anymore than $10.00. I give credit for those that raise there's at a higher rate and reach their marks. It would be cool to see who get's what as far as earnings in here but then again it probably would cause alot of diappointment for some people get more than others and it would be conflict of "I should be getting that I do just as much if not more my discussions are just as good as anyone else's it's not fair" I think that's why MyLot dosen't do this kind of thing. They see it as we are all here to have fun posting and responding, makeing frinds, and getting paid for doing it. Has anyone tried asking MyLot about this kind of thing? I think it would be interesting to find out.

Personally, I am not sure this would be Fair to everyone if we could see how much everyone else has earned here. You need to remember there are a lot of people on here who have earned a lot better than others, and even if that would be an Inspiration for you and a motivator, a lot of it depends on how many Referals on has, and how active one is on here as well. Personally I prefer it left as is as it should not be a thing of interest for everyone to know how much everyone is making or has made on here. Justg my thoughts.

Kiran, it is a tricky matter. If earnings about others are shown, it can have both positive and negative effects, as well. It can motivate others, and others may feel envy after seeing other members earnings shooting up. It may have more of a negative impact on the minds of newbies rather than positive impact. Privacy is also invaded, if you get to see others earnings. I would not like others to see, what I have earned.......LOL! (I may tell my dear friends here privately about my earnings, say though PM, but publicaly I would not like to reveal it).

Yes I can see what you are saying, I did not think people would be too worried though about people seeing their earnings. But i guess I am wrong, lol. I still think though that most newbies would be motivated as they are not sure on when they themself will reach payout. I am sure my suggestion won't arise anyway, so we don't have to worry, he he. Keep smiling my friend.

I think it would be cool for My Lot to do a top 10 listing of the top earners. Not necessarily disclosing everything, but just to give you something to achieve. They could either post the top ten earners by screen name on the front page without disclosing the amount they received, or my personal preference, to put the top earners total earning up without disclosing the screen names. I have only been here a week or so, but am pretty happy with my earnings so far. I don't see it as a sole income obviously, but it's nice to be paid for something I enjoy doing and was going to do anyway.

Hi, welcome to mylot killer, I am sure you will like it here, great way to earn pocket cash and meet people. I think it would be great to see what people have earnt each month too. I reached my first payout at about 400 posts. Then my second at about 700 posts, so think I got better at writing lol, as I earnt more for my posts. Good luck to you, if you write lots of quality posts you should make payout in month or so and if you come here daily.
