How does your myLot activity change around payout time?

When it's a few days to payout (like it is now) and you're not sure whether you'll make it or not, do you work extra hard to try and get those all important last dollars, or do think it's not worth all the extra effort, and that next month will do!?
How about if you've already made enough for payout. Do you rest on your laurels and sit back, or knowing that you could maybe get even more than the bare minimum do you suddenly put in a lot more effort to see just how high you can make that figure go?
Or do you just myLot constantly throughout the month?

You only get paid what you made for the last month so although we are only a couple days away from payout if you made it to $10 today you would not get paid until June 15th. You would have had to already had the minimum by April 30th to qualify for the Mays payment.

I don't know that. I was not able to reach my payout on April 30'th and now I'm trying to reach my payout on the 15'th. Since you mention that I will be paid on June 15'th there is no need for me to get reach my payout on this 15'th then. I, appreciate your information. Cheers.

Ah, I didn't realise that either, thanks for letting me know. So on the 15th of the month you get paid what you'd made by the end of the previous month. That's good to know, and means that it will give me more of a chance to make payout by 15th June.
In the meantime I will enjoy discussing with people :)

That's interesting that you set yourself goals for the day. It must be tricky to put a constant effort into it everyday when there are other things that need doing! My activity on here just varies so much, but the most enjoyable days are when I just get completely carried away with loads of discussions that catch my eye, and they're usually the days when I do best, without really trying to.

hi liquorice !
i am not really aware of it...for me, i just post whenever i can, whether it is payout or not. last time, i got paid after 7 months because my payout minimum was $50. mylot paid me, of course.
anyway, i don't depend on payout time. i post, whenever i am available. so if i don't make it this payday, then well, maybe next month again. :-)

Hello! Thanks for your reply. It must be nice to save up your myLot earnings until you get a substantial amount like that. I think I'm too impatient to do that though, at least for the time being. I can't wait to see how it all works with my first payout. I am sure that they will pay, as so many different people on here have confirmed this, so I don't have any doubts about that, but I've never done paypal or anything like that so the whole thing's quite exciting for me!
It's also a good attitude you have about whether you make this payday or not.

My myLot actibity is not driven by my earnings. maybe if I am just a little short the last two days I'll do an extra effort. Mostly i just come in here and do a couple of posts whenever I feel like it and have the time and oportunity. I do not depend on the money I make in here anyways.

Yes, it's nice to be relaxed about it. It's a good thing that earnings are carried over from last month, so even if you don't make payout one month you don't lose anything, it just helps with next month.
Thanks for your reply.

Hey there!
Well, I'm not going to reach the payout this month, probably not even next, it took me so long to get where I am...
However, in half the time I got here I made only 20% of my money...
The more recent half of my mylot journey I've made 80% of my money!
($4 out of $5)
If I reach payout before august, I'll be pleased (=
But I don't expect it ^^

Hi citrusemma, it sounds as if you're posts are improving in some way the more that you do, that's really good! I hope that you reach your payout goals, if you carry on following your current trend you might do it sooner than you think! And the more you get into the discussions and enjoy it the sooner it'll happen too I'm sure. Thanks for your answer.

when payout is near i work hard to reached my goal for that particular period. for example last month my goal was to reached 1000 post and $25 earnings, i work double time, the result i reached my goal and am very happy on it.

You sound very dedicated and well done for doing all those posts! I'm not organised enough to set goals like that but I agree that it's a tempting thing to post more when it's near to the payout deadline. Thanks for your reply, and I hope you reach any goals you've set for this month!

If i am close to my payout and the time available is less then i certainly would put in extra efforts to see that i reach my payout in that particular month. Once having reached the payout i would like to take some rest and would be going slow or may not be active for a day or too. I thing one needs a break once having achieved a target but my next targets do get harder like achieving the payout in a lesser time.

That's a good approach, reaching payout and then giving yourself a bit of a break. Thanks for your answer.

I'm here almost every day during the week, I only take a break over the weekend to spend time with my partner. I love being here and although earning is good, I find that I don't really push any harder nearer to payout.

Thanks for your answer, you sound like you are very active contributor to myLot. It seems like there's quite a few people here who make a constant effort throughout the month as well as those who post more towards the end.

These is my only second payout since I came back a month ago. I am trying to beat the deadline on May 15'th. I started very slow last April and it was not my goal to get the payout. Now, I am a few dollars off my minimum payout with a few days left and I am doing some extra efforts to get it.
I do have some patterns here when I work at mylot. But when payout time is near I do some extra effort, which is no good. It put pressure on you and you forgot your other duties. So it's better to do just what you are doing and let the payout take cares of itself. Now I need to redo my pattern to avoid rushing when deadline is near.

Hi, I think that you said some very sensible things about not putting pressure on yourself and forgetting the other things you've got to do! It's so easy to do on here. I was putting some pressure on myself to reach payout by the 15th as I was just so excited about my first paypal activity! However, it seems that payment on the 15th is based on what you earned up until the end of the previous month, ie. the payout on May 15 is based on where you were at the end of April. So I'm more relaxed now knowing that I have until the end of May to get to the minimum amount.
Thanks for your reply.

Hi liquorice,
Yes, my Mylot activity actually does change for the last few days of the month where I feel if I push to make more posts I can make a little extra. I have yet to get my first payout as I missed the mark by 2 cents last month and I am well over my $10.00 for June's payout. I am hoping to cashout at $25.00 this month (April $10) and (May $15) But yes, I did push it the last few days hoping to make May's payout.
i figure if I can average around $0.50 cents a day on here I could make $15 dollars extra for the month though, so I am trying that this month.

Hi, I think it must be fairly typical for effort to increase towards the end of the month, although I'm reading about a few different patterns here. Ah, it must've been a bit frustrating for you to miss your first payout by 2 cents! But it could well turned out to be a positive thing if you can do so well for June. Good luck, I hope you make your goal!
