What do you feel about terrace gardening?

I grew tomatoes on terrace. It's a highly pleasing experience. I want to know how to keep away the ants making home on the tubs?

No exterminator or harmful chemicals are needed to get rid of ants. Cream of wheat works great. If you feed the cream of wheat to the ants they will take it back to the nest. They will eat it and it will expand in their stomach killing them.
Terrace gardening is great. I will grow stuff where ever I have room. I am considering rooftop gardening.
