With all the celebrities in the world and all the paparazzi and reporters chasing after them is it any wonder that so many celebrities have to hire bodyguards. Big, beefy men or women that would throw their life down if necessary to save the one they guard. It’s a rough and dangerous job.
They had a movie out years ago with Whitney Houston in it…in the movie, Bodyguard, she falls in love with her bodyguard. It is a good movie too.
I’m wondering though if you were in peak physical condition, would you ever become someone’s bodyguard? What celebrity would you like to guard their body (LOL)? I have a list of hot male celebrities that I wouldn’t mind guarding LOL, but I don’t know about the whole putting my life on the line. What about you?

nobody, I wouldn't want to take a bullet for anyone, no amount of money in the world would make me want to do that.

hi twoey If I were in peak physical condition and some
years younger I would not mind guarding Harrison Ford
bbut again I am a coward when it comes to putting my
life on the line if someone was going to do Harrison harm
so I would not be any good anyhow. nope I would not
take the job at all.

ya the duty of the guards is indeed risky.... they risk their life for some other lives. i would like to protect catherine zeta jones .... well i like her a lot and i will certainly find myself lucky if i get a chance to protect her.
have a good day.

That was a good movie and Kevin Costner (I think I spelled that right) is a good looking man. There are a few celebrates that I would like to guard. But I wouldn't put my life on the line for them.

There is no way I would put my body on the line to protect some selfish celebrity. They want to be rich and famous, but they think it makes them above the rest of us. Let them protect their own bodies.
Sorry if that sounds mean, but why should they be treated any differently to us mere mortals?

I can't imagine being a body guard but if the money were right, then who knows, but I would have to be in perfect condition.. I love the older stars and can just imagine guarding Patrick Swayze, with my life, John Travlota, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Tom Selleck, also with my life, Kevin Costner, Richard Gere, Robert Redford, and of course, Bruce Willis.. Boy wouldn't that be a great job, just to be able to breath the same air as these guys.. I do like this discussion..

I think if I were male I would be a body guard of sort. I would be the muscle for a wise guy. So I would be a bodyguard but not for a celebrity. And I would put my life on the line.

If I were younger and in good physical condition, I sure would love to do that! What an exciting job and fantastic opportunity to meet someone famous. Actually, I'd love to be able to beat the crap out of the paparazzi the way they stalk and harass some celebrities. These stars are human beings too and I think it's a shame how some people don't think they deserve any privacy whatsoever. I also say a cheer to myself when I hear of someone taking a swing at one of them. In most cases if they show some respect they'll get their darn picture without resorting to the sneaky and aggressive tactics they use. Another thing I'd consider if I were younger is being a nanny and I'd hope I'd have the "terrible luck" of being sexually harassed by Rob Lowe or someone like him...lol!

Well, if the bodyguard is good looking, I think is very romantic to fall in love with your bodyguard.

Nope, not me. I am 5'3 and a whopping 98 lbs so I really don't think I would intimidate anyone anyway.
I would die for any of my children in a minute. Some celebrity? Umm, no.

I'm not sure if I'd ever put my life on the line for anyone but my loved ones.

I dont think there is anyone that I would like to do that kind of work for. The body guards always have to put up with even more crap than the stars do. Not for me.
