Anyone else avoid chocolate ice cream because / myLot

it makes you thirsty after you eat it. I will eat it at home, sometimes. But if we go out for ice cream which is rare, I won't even consider it. It makes me so thirsty.

I don't eat chocolate ice cream. I do not like the way it tastes. I have had it before though and I can see why you would say it makes you thirsty. It is richer than the vanilla ice cream.

I have never noticed that chocolate ice cream makes me thirsty, but I am not over keen on choccie ice cream unless it has chunks of real choccie in it!!

ice cream - ice cream tastes good. i like it

I seldom eat ice cream at home. Only when I pass KFC or Mc'donald do I get one to eat. I love the taste of ice cream of any flavor.

Nope...chocolate ice cream is my all-time favorite. Never paid attention to if it makes me thirsty or not...but I have to say I wouldn't care. lol

That's odd. I love chocolate, I don't think I'd complain about being thirsty. I'd just get a soda or water to go with it.

I agree. When I go to Dairy Queen,sometimes I cant help myself because it's my favorite,I have to buy a bottle of water to wash it down.

I find that too. While I don't totally avoid chocolate ice cream, I will order a glass of water, when I know that I will be eaing any kind of chocolate ice cream, so I am not thirsty later, with nothing to do about it on the way back home.
