i have experienced a small earthquake here in my home town, but nothing like that. I freaked out over the little one, i couldn't imagine the big ones that knocked stuff off the walls and tore down buildings. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. God bless you and everyone there.

wow i can't believe you experienced that. i heard about it in the news here yesterday. i'm glad that you are fine. it's really tough if there's a natural disaster. we can't do anything about it and we don't know when it comes and all. fortunately i haven't experienced any natural disasters as i'm in a particularly safe place. but sometimes, i feel that if this were to happen to me also, i would definitely panic and at times think that i couldn't last long as i'm partly afraid of small spaces and creepy crawlies also. hehe but i guess everyone would be afraid if this happened to them.

Yes, i'm afraid, although i haven't experienced this, but i wish i will never experience. I haven't felt the shake yesterday. It's thousands of miles away from Sichuan-the epicentre, the shake's very weak. Only those in tall building can feel, they feel dizzy.I can totally understand people's panic. Life is invaluable. Good luck and pray for all my compatriots

It's the 1st time i experienced the earthquake, too. I am studying in Chongqing, next to Sichuan province. i felt so strong about the quake. all the students ran down stairs when we found the building was shaking. it really scared us, but i wasn't afraid i was going to die. just a kind of intuition. actually, i was not quite sure it was really a earthquake. i went to Dujiangyan weeks ago. i just can't believe the quake destroy it so so so badly. and now i am afraid to look at the pictures about the disaster, the numbers of the deaths... how i wish they were not real. pray for all of them. they will be fine. we will be fine. i love china!

I also felt the house shaking at that time. It made me scared and I was at 8th floor. I just rushed downstaires and stay at the flat ground out of the building. When I reached home and turned on TV, it was reported that the earthquake happened in Sichang, which is more than 1,200Km away from the city I lived. Bless those unfortunate people!

Hi Lishiwei. I am so happy you made it through such an ordeal. I experinced a quake once and I am sure it was ababy compared to that one you experienced. It was horrible for me feeling the earth move and hearing the eery sounds that came with it. Lord it was awful. It cant compare to the one you went through though as no lives were lost and propery damage was minimal. I hope all your family is ok as well. (lol)

when i standing before the window, i was scared because i felt the whole building shaking. i was on the sixth floor too. so, i kept calm and shelter myself in the toilet. There is safe for the tubes. I am in Lanzhou, where are you? Is everything there going well now? I heard from my friends in Tianshui, they are not having class now. and they spent the whole night in the playground, cold and tense.

We here shaked yesterday in Wuhan.I heard of that there was an earthquake in Sichuan Province. The earthquake destroied Wenchuan city. And the ground was tearing. That's terrible. The worse was that a lot of students was buried alive. Some students must have to stay in the playground aal the night.I do'nt know why it had happend.I think the government should give their citizen an advice. But it seemed as if it's not as quickly and exactly as possible.Perhaps it's because earthquake is rare.I can'nt understand especially when I saw the videos on the website.
