rating complaints...ugh

when my ratings star to dropping i felt bad but when i think that there is no relations to my earnings well, i am not particular on my ratings anymore, instead i am after to my earnings and the quality post i make to boost my income on myLot. there is a great disturbing effects on the droppings of ratings here but i don't care as long my post were not deleted.

Star ratings and colours go up and down like a yoyo on here and I guess they will continue to do so despite the activity of the trolls and muppets. I feel now that the star rating system either needs an overhaul or simply ignored.

I do not find any reason for people over-reacting against trivial matter. No, there is no reason for ranting. So far and so long we are happy taking part in discussions, there must be no reason to shout at ranking/rating systems. In mylot I find it great to talk with people across the globe, and exchange my views. I also take part in different other online communities, but i find it hard there to get people listen to me unless they are my real world friends. It has been very much boring to blog on all by yourself without any reciprocation. You need to apply promotional techniques to get a response. This is not the case in mylot. Earning money is just a bonus. I really do not bother - neither for the amount of money I earn, nor about my star rating, at myLot.

hello sunkistroses401, i agree with you completely and btw i love the spirit that you are showing here despite the dropping of the star number. i have always seen it as a decoration next to my name and it is cute sometimes that you see a different color once in a while LOL star dont represent the person, though it is sad that some sees it that way, the quality of the post is what matters the most and the star is just a way to ignite sometimes a discussion here as i have seen it in some discussion and if that is the case i try not to go there as i feel a negative energy coming from it and i dont like to feel that way. there are other discussion here that is worth my time and in which i can learn in a lot of ways, ranting is good at times but when it is become abusive and get nasty that's the time that i see a person not growing up. just my two cents. takecare!

I think it'd be unfair for you to loose a star if ever because of this posting. I mean you just said what's on your mind and probably most people in mylot also ask themselves the same question. This is supposed to be an open forum where people share their views and opinions regardless whether they'd be the majority or minority. As long as the opinion is stated courteously and within the boundaries of the discussion I don't see any reason for anyone to loose their star.

I am not at all sure about what happens with the star rating, mine was six, sometime back,then again it drops to 2,but today I noticed it as 6 again. Why does this happens???? Do you have a clear idea????I just try to be as polite as I could with the person who are responding me.

I'm not worried about my star for that not what's important to me here. I am here to have fun to respond/start discussion and make friends as well as earn a little money. Alot of us try to make some really good discussions here and wonder why our star drops like it does. As long as your haveing fun like I am don't let your star dropping rate get to you.
