What is your earliest childhood memory ???

My earliest childhood memory is clear as day for me, like it only happened yesterday. When was your first memory and how old/what was it ? My first memory I have as a child was from 26 year's ago. I was born with a lazy eye and had to have surgery to correct it and as my town did not do that sort of operation I went to the neighbouring town's hospital 13 mile's away which was a specialist eye, ear and throat place. I can my nan's friend drove my nan, mom and I to the hospital and I was on the ward playing toy's. A nurse came in and spoke to my mom about something then my mom was talking to my nan about what ever the nurse had told her. It must of been time for me to be put to sleep or summat as my mom said we are just going to walk around the corner to the chip shop to get dinner. As you can imagine I was screaming my head off that they were leaving me (only child then and very posesive) and I was looking down from the ward window outside to see if I could see them. After a couple of min's they came out the front of the hospital and got in the car. I didn't think anything of it as I was only 3 but I expected them to come back soon. I was standing at that window for ages waiting for my precious mommy to come back, more time elapsed and the tear's were welling up now untill it finally sunk in they left me and I broke in to a fit of crying n screaming for my mommy. That's my 1st memory I have as a child, any one else have any sad stories ??????
