We all go through points in our lives when we could really use a magic lamp with a good-natured genie to do our bidding. Helping us through tough times, giving us what we need and making our lives a little easier. Most ppl automatically wish for World Peace, homes for the homeless, no sickness or death, to be rich and famous. But what if the wishes were only for you and your family.
I know there have been times I would have loved a magic lamp with a sweet genie. As of right now, if I found one my three wishes would be:
1) A large piece of land up North to live on with a house for us, one for each of my Brothers and their families and one for my Mom. I’d love to live up on the lakes of Michigan.
2) I’d heal Hubby’s back and make us both healthy along with the rest of my family members.
3) I’d erase all our debts and my families’ debts. I wouldn’t care about being rich…I’d just be happy to start out fresh.
I know it will never happen but it’s nice to take a break from reality and wish a little.
So, what would you wish for…only for you and your family…and only 3? Would you pass the lamp around to other friends so they could get their wishes too? Do you think it’s nice to take a break sometimes and wish a little?

My wishes area little morbid but here it goes. I would wish for enough money for my sister and my nephew to live where and how they want to.That's one. The other one is that I get to see one of my favorite teams win one more time . And three that after I get to see them win, I die and get to be with my mom and dad.

I am sorry but I don't need a genie nor a magic lamp, I am going to win the lottery.. My wishes are almost the same as yours.. I would love to have a bit of peace and many less worries about finances.. 1)I would love to be able to pay bills and have enough left over to go to the grocery store and not have to worry about what to get.. 2)I would wish for my husband's legs to be better and my son was moved back home so we could help him and his new wife.. 3)I would also love to have my home remodeled and made bigger, with a great room which was mostly kitchen.. I love to be in the kitchen with my family all around enjoying them selves.. Are you sure we can't have four?? four would be better than three, lol.. have a great day

1. I would wish that Aunt Kate would be able to see and that her overall health would improve.
2. I'd wish my mom and I would come into enough money to pay our debts, have some ahead, have some to spare, and would both be healthy enough to enjoy it.
3. I'd wish to wake up tomorrow and be back to my ideal weight of 128 lbs. and no longer have knee problems.
Yes, I would pass it around to friends and would first start with Russell, since he's the founder and chairman of Invisible Youth Network.
He would be in the position to say, "I wish myself to be a total success as the founder and chairman of Invisible Youth Network!" and, even though he would be keeping with the rules to make a wish about himself, having his wish granted would mean that our many, many, many young people would be getting what they need!

LMAO Twoey, I got a giggle from your post here. I call these types of thought Mini vacations, my mind is the only thing that gets to vacation but hey, thats not so bad huh? Like you I would want health and happiness all the way around for my family. But unlike you I would not want to be on the same property as everyone of them LMAO close, but not to close... I would wish that we could be self sufficient in growing our own food, and making our own energy... and A Maid, Nanny!

Yes it is good to sit back and play the "what if" or the "if only I had" game then reality slaps you in the face. I would for sure make my three wishes and pass it on to others to make wishes also. My wishes are sort of like yours, my first wish would be for all of my family to be healthy and stay healthy including myself. 2nd would be land also to build homes for us and for our children if they would want that. 3rd would be for the money to live comfortable for us and all of our family.

1. I'd wish for enough money to redo the buildings we have and have a steady income. We have a barn roof that needs to be taken down and redone. We have walls on my husband's workshop that need to be redone. Only one room in our late 1800s/early 1900s house has been redone, the bathroom. Everything else needs HELP!
2. Get rid of all the diabetes, arthritis and allergies in our family. We can handle everything else. Those three seem to stop us cold and rob us of energy as well as a joy for life. Without those, we could enjoy life every day again.
3. World Peace would definitely be in there.

It's always nice to take a break from reality and wish a little. If I ever found a lamp like that I would wish for:
1)Good health for my family and me
2)Earse my families and my debts
3)Propery big enough for my whole family and a house for each of us.

I would love the power to heal people with my mind, so that nobody would experience pain and suffering. It does not mean that people would not die, that is something nobody could ever have control over it would be that when their time was up they would not have to suffer and if there time was not up they would not be sick.
I would love all the money I would ever need in life to be present, I would never have to worry about money again. I could even give away money to charities and still have it.
I would wish that I would always have my friends and family and all of us were happy in our lives, so happy that this happiness spilled over and made every one we met happy too.

I'd love this! And I would share it with friends once I had my wishes! Why not share the wealth! :)
1. I'd wish that my brother was out of the Army for good-- with a great retirement and he moved closer to home.
2. I'd wish that I won the lottery and it was HUGE--- so that meant no more bills for anyone in my family (including cousins, aunts/uncles)
3. I'd wish that my whole family would live out the rest of our days happy and healthy!

If I had a magic lamp in my possession right now, my wishes would be...
1. Erase all debt so we can start fresh.
2. Make my hubby, me, and my sis-in-law completely healthy, not just part healthy.
3. I've always dreamed of owning 10 acres and having horses, dogs, cats, cows, and chickens along with a small orchard and a huge garden. THAT is my final wish.

My three wishes would be:
1) Ambition and skill for my sons so that they could make successful and fullfilling lives for themselves - which would also mean taking care of their health.
2) For me a little cottage in the English countryside with no mortgage, attached to a bookshop that I run.
3) For my soon to be ex - a woman who knows how to control HIM!

My three wishes: one to get the use of my left arm
back so can lift it as high as I used to
2. to pay our rent ahead so son has more money
to use 3. I would wish for enough money

Yes, that would be so nice.. and I'll have to confess when I began reading your post I didn't even think of world peace.. or even homes for the homeless.. but immediately thought of bills, bills and expenses! I'd very much love to move "out to the boonies" maybe buy some land with a small cabin on it and someplace close by to fish.. Places close by for our son and our daughter and her kids would be nice too.. but heck if I'm gonna wish.. I'd like to have a huge parcel of land.. far removed from the rat race and all our family and friends could build houses there.. maybe put up some windmills.. do a little cooperative living and bartering.. These days there's just too much expense, too many bills and too much debt! Need a car.. debt! Need furniture.. debt. Kids need a car fixed.. debt! Wish I could start over! Keep it way simpler.. even though I thought I was before!

My first wish would be for me,hubby and our baby, our families and friends to be healthy. Then i'd want us to have oour dream home, and also a home for my dad and his wife, my brother and his family, and my mom and her husband. I would then want to free us of all debts so we could enjoy our money and our lives

I would wish for a little home with a little land in the hill country of central Texas where out family could all hang out. I would wish for financial security for all of us and enough money for a foundation which would help others on the condition that they pay it forward by helping someone else in some way.

Rubbing the magic genie lamp would be nice...It's hard to make just 3 wishes so I guess I would try to make them as general as possible:
1. I wish for an endless supply of money I could use to help people - if someone needed money i could just give it to them and of course we'd never run out - it wouldn't be for lavish things, just getting out of debt and necessities and doing good
2. I would wish for painless cures for cancer, aids, heart disease, cavities (I had to have a root canal redone last week and man are my teeth hurting!!) and other physical ailments
3. No greed or hate - it really burns me up seeing people fighting over stupid things or being racist or prejudiced!!
I think that's general enough - any idea where I can find one of these lamps? lol
