Strange stories told by grandfathers and grandmothers ...!!!!!

they always tell me strange stories out of belief. for example my grandfather is always bragging about that there was electricity problems in his town that time and he was studying on the light of a candle and could achieve good marks. while grandmother tells me that she had to walk a very long distance everyday in order to reach the school.
are you told such these stories ???
I would be glad to hear them.......

Well unfortunately I didn't get chance to meet my grand parents, but my parents told of some great stories when they were younger. I remember my mum telling me of how foggy it used to get when she was younger and how she couldn't even see her hand in front of her face! My dad told me how he saw a bomb drop in the canal during the war, it was never found even though they dredged the canal two or three times!
