Well we have wireless internet, its a little more expensive but its worth it. Its always connected, you don't have to dial up anything, just turn your computer on and its already on. We have a small sattelite dish on the top of the house. Our speed is 100 Mbps, I'm not sure what our download speed is but its fast, it only takes a couple seconds for webpages to download. We used to have dial up at first, because out here in the country thats all that would work, we couldn't even get DSL, and the speed was like 24.6 kbps, it was really slow, it would make me mad, I'd feel like just throwing the computer out the door, we couldn't look at anything, cause it was slow to download. So if you have wireless internet where your at, it would be worth looking into.

No I am not happy but I will change it soon, it can currently download great from far away, but in my country the speed is very slow. I'll look for some provider that can really crank up the upload speed.
On torrents I usually get 450 kb/s
and from the most known torrents I usually get about 300 kb/s.
Upload about 50 kb/s on torrents
and on sites I get about 500 kb/s

I was going to cancel my internet last month because I didn't think I could afford it anymore. It has always been very fast, broadband has been great. But I no longer thought it best to pay so much for the internet. Well, I called the company to cancel, and they then told me they would give it to me at a cheaper price. So now I pay $9.95 a month for unlimited access to the internet, and it is still as fast as ever. Nothing changed but the price. I was annoyed that they didn't just automatically offer it so cheap. They only lowered the price when I threatened to cancel.

I'm not happy with my internet speed. It's slo w but it gwts the job done. I want to actually look inot another company though cause upgrading my package with the company I'm currently with would be too expensive and with the other company I could pay 2 months of internet bill with the amount the current company will charge for the higher speed!
I keep procrastinating doing the switch though cause they are a relatively new company and I don't know how reliable they are but I am dying to upgrade my speed still...

Well, if you didn't happy then I shouldn't be happy.. My Internet speed is up to 384Kbps, or approximately 38-40KBps at most, and I have to pay around IDR 220.000 (around $23) just for 50 hours, and for unlimited access I have to pay IDR 825.000 (around $87).. Worse than yours rite?

I'd like to get an Increase on my speed..I went from 56k Dialup to 512k broadband-I'm told by online applications that my line can support up to 2mb,but I don't want to double my current monthly payment equivalent of about £12($24)..Some providers have very attractive deals, but they're not available in my area! But they CAN offer me a more expensive option until they're ready to offer the one I'd like here.. (Average ~ 18 ($36))

my internet speed is 10 mbps. i am happy with my speed but if there is another internet provider higher than this i will shift to the new one. i paid $24.50 monthly of my connection. Broadband is only available here now, DSL will be available soon, their project is now going on. If they finished i will change my internet connection from broadband to DSL.

I am using hathway.I am paying Rs 618 including taxes for 2 month and download limit is 2GB per 2month.They are providing 512 kbps speed. They have no installation charges.I have used many internet vendor like reliance, airtel but I found this one very good.
Atleast they maintain the speed. Now I have applied for BSNL.I think they are the cheapest and their service is best in the industry.

I'm happy with my internet service, I have wireless internet, meaning I have satellite on top of my house, and its always connected no matter what. Its fast, I think I get 100.0 Mbps, and it downloads fast, sometimes when I'm downloading my computer can't keep up with itself...lol. I pay 39.95 a month for it, we used to have dial-up and it was terrible, my computer was slow, it was useless trying to download stuff because it would take hours to do it. Our internet provider is a local business where we live, we like it.

I am not happy with the speed as its very much less. I get speed of 128 kbps for surfing and 16 kbps as the downloading speed that is very much low either.I am giving 600 rupees for that with the unlimited downloading limit.I am not satisfied with the speeds at all and thinking to get the broadband connection now for the better speed.

Why cant you use BSNL UL750 plan. It costs you Rs.750 per month for unlimited downloading. Its speed is 256kbps.
The charge rate is very similar to your present plan.

That really worse than..my place similar situation. Currently I'm using wireless broadband EDGE and after waiting about 5 year finally my local telco provide wired phone and now for wired broadband up to 4M. Sadly I cant's subscribe wired broadband because I still have contract with current telco which provide EDGE and planning to terminate after one year contract is over.

When i started out with BSNL, only got 256kbps but then last year some major changes in the corporate sector brought about welcome changes in my broadband speed....256kbps got bumped up to 2Mbps(when available) at Rs500 and limit of 2.5GB permonth...keeping my fingers crossed for BSNL to remove the limit n' make it unlimited!

I am extremely happy with my internet speed, and I'm happy with the cost of it too. In Ontario "hotspots" cost money to use. I'm using high-speed wireless internet at The Second Cup for twenty-five dollars a month, and I love it!! I don't have the internet at home, so I come down here and use it.

I am using an unlimited 3Mbps ADSL internet link, and my internet service provider charges me S$38 per month, which is about USD$28 per month. I don't know what speed of download I am achieving, but my downloads are pretty fast generally. I am quite happy using this ISP, and so far, I hardly have any disruptions in service, so I can say the service is reliable.
