Ever meet someone with the Same Name as You?!

Yes it has happened to me way way back. When I was in second standard, some twelve years ago, I had two classmates with the same name. We were fine with each other but since then I haven't met someone called by the same name.

I have a very common first name so I've met a couple of women with the same name over the years. In fact, I have a relative on my husband's side who has the same first and last name as mine. I was named after my mother's sister but I've always used a shortened version of the name and she uses the more formal one.

I have a very unique name, and I know, for sure, it would be extremely rare for me to meet someone with the same name. My parents had used a combination of letters to make my name, that I always get a surprise look, everytime I get introduced. I used to hate it, but as I grew older, I learned to live with it. Now, I just look at it as another thing that makes me unique.

Yes I did when I was younger and someone introduced me to my 'namesake' although I guess my name is quite common! I did once know three people call Matt Best, two of them I actually worked with in the same company!

I've never met someone with the name spelt or said the same as mine. I've met girls with the "normal" spelling of Cassandra but never Cassaundra. Its nice to be unique (most of the time).
