What do you think of dirt cake

I like it and don't really don't look at it as dirt . I have had more of the pudding type with,pudding, whip cream, and oreo cookies that were not all that broken up. It is always at every summer party I have gone to and seems to be a favorite of kids. Oh wow I just looked up a picture of dirt cake and will post the pic. I have never had any that looks like that, maybe if I saw that I would be freaked out, and I think that is more on the line of what you are talking about . Mine always had more white to it . Dang! it really does look like dirt

I'm not a fan of chocolate anyway so this was not something I could ever bring myself to eat. The kids love it though...but not as much as green slime frosting. When ever we need a "gross" dessert, I just do that. I did learn to not attempt red slime, that does not look like slime and goes way beyond the gross level kids can handle. It might work well at an adult Halloween party though.

I had it ages ago and it was pretty tasty. I think the gross look of it is what makes it so fun for kids...they love nasty looking things :)

I love dirt & worms cake. When I was little people always used to bring it to class for their birthday. I used topick out all the gummie worms and eat them last after I ate the cake part. xD

I have never heard of dirt cake. Or even seen a picture of it. now you have got me wondering as to waht it is like and what it tastes like. You said you have a couple of different recipes, could you please post them so I can try and cook it. I'm sure my family will love to try it. Thanking you in advance Anne18

A friend of mine had it at her birthday party and she said it was great but, I dunno....I'd have to have a couple of drinks before trying it myself.
