This discussion is a year old but I just found it so I decided to go ahead and comment... MSNBC is the best in my opinion. I know there will be those who disagree, in fact some of the earlier comments in this discussion already have, but Fox claims to be the one that's "fair and balanced" when in fact I think they're the LEAST fair and balanced network ever. All three have their commentators and their political shows and we could probably argue forever over who has the most conservatives or the most liberals, etc., but I've noticed even on Fox's straight news programming there's that slant well to the right there. Little things like leaving out the party affiliation if a politician gets into a jam who happens to be a Republican-case in point, the Larry Craig case currently all over the airways-and repeating it over and over and OVER AGAIN if it's a Democrat. (Senator So N. So, Democrat of Blue State was charged with whatever when the Democrat was leaving wherever this morning. The Democrat, So, very popular among his fellow Democrats...) Britt Hume has been the biggest disappointment to me. I used to think he was a credible journalist but, sorry to say, he's now nothing more than a water-carrier for the GOP. If Fox had more on-air personalities like Alan Colmes and Bob Beckel I'd definitely turn in more often.

Fox. Often CNN doesn't report the whole story or missing major things that go on in the world. They have not proven themselves a reliable sourse for news.

Fox news. I believe that they are the most independat of the three, Often CNN and MSNBC report things before they have all of the facts. Not saying Fox is perfect. I think to get a well rounded view of what is going on you need to pull your news from many sources, not just one TV channel where the news is filtered and vital information may not be released.

I am from India. There are empteen number of channels. But for international news, I tune in CNN and BBC. Both are good. If time permits, I watch some entertainment in both.

I actually use NPR, on the radio. I feel it is not influenced by cash flow as televison is.
