I like listening to classical music, and I go to Philamonic Orchestras whenever I have the chance. And, to be more acquainted with the music, I have recently started practising violin. Oh, now I know it is not easy at all ! How about you ? Do you play any instruments ?

Playing the violin isn't easy at first. But keep practicing and it will get easier. I played violin steadily from age 9 to 18.These days I am lucky if I pick it up once a year. What I can tell you is that once you get the feel for it, it becomes a second nature. What ever you find hard to do now will become easy if you keep practicing.
Besides the violin, I can play the autoharp and the guitar. I can play one song on the recorder.

It will take time and practice.there is a saying that it takes 20 years to become a violinist. I believe it takes some time to learn where you should put your fingers and to get a feel of how to hold a violin properly. But once you do, it Will become second nature.Time and practice. It will happen.

Good for you. Keep practicing and you will get better at the violin.I should know, I played the violin for 9 years. Once you get the hang of it, you will always be able to play. I am so rusty but when I do puck up a violin, it is second nature. It all comes back. But you need to practice to get to that point.Good luck.

i play the guitar, piano, and the bass guitar.
that's all that i play though. but i play the guitar more than the others though. LOL I get my playing from my dad and his side of the family.
all of his people on his side are musicians as well.
heck, my 2nd cousin is a big country songwriter for Garth Brooks,
Randy Travis, and others and has had the big hit for Randy Travis called, "Three wooden Crosses".
and than my 3rd cousin, she's getting ready to sign a record label for country and pop rock music.
So, my dad's family are big country music writers and singers.
thanks for asking.

After seeing the movie "Music of the heart" I was inspired to buy a violin and retrain myself how to play. I am currently taking lessons and have been very happy with the out come. Yes, it is hard espically when you are older. I was also taken by surprise when I saw two young men on You tube playing a cross between hip-hop and classical. Check out my article "These Brothers are Awesome" You will be impressed........

I've just started playing the violin; it's such a beautiful instrument, both in sound and looks. I feel like there's no other musical instrument that expresses feelings as good as the violin. The tones can sound so low and brittle, or very strong and they keep going on for a long time, never truly dying. The violin is truly the instrument of the soul. I would love to learn piano, as well. After the violin, I bet it's going to feel easy. At least I hope so.

I can play the piano by ear, and I have perect pitch. If I like somehing, I'll sit down at the piano and play it. I hate reading music. I have driven a lot of piano teachers insane because I'd rather play it my way, than read the music.

Yes, I have also wanted to play some instrument. Violin is my choice , but I know I am not doing well. I guess one needs to have that special gift to be able to do well !

I would like to play an instrument but I have problems with my left hand. I keep massaging it in the hopes that it comes close to my right hand which has no problems. Perhaps I might be able to play the piano when this happens. Cheers!!

I do play the piano. I studied playing it since I was 8 years old. But I haven't played piano for about 6 years now, since our house caught fire. I love to learn how to play the violin and the guitar. I just love the sound of it.
