happiness: External or Internal?

Do you think happiness lies outside in you in the worldly pleasures or does it lie within you in your mind? I personally believe that happiness is a state of mind and it lies within us.We can be happy if we want to be if we choose to be.Nobody external to us can make us unhappy and we shouldnt rest our happiness with someone else.
