Are people born bad?

i do not think people are born bad,i think it way people are raised and how the current society that existed. but we cannot just blame on parents,because their do the best their can,well most do. i think people are taking down a certain path because of something their have see or watch happen to someone else. but other might just do because their do not see the wrong in it and believe their can do because of some illness it hard to explain what can cause someone to become bad. but we can give theories and comments on why people turn bad

Never - all baby born without sin and innocent and with heavenly bless but when they raise they become bad due to money, bad companion, bad society, bad governance and bad education etc.

i don't think people are born bad... but all people are born sinful since Adam and Eve the first people God created, fall into sin... we don't have to teach the children to do bad things such as lying, throwing tantrums, talk back to parents, etc... yet they do that... but what make people bad is the upbringings from the parents and the environments they grow up in... though if they are taught since young to fear God and obey His commandments, they won't become bad people... that's what i think... take care and have a nice day...

no. i think all are born as " angels " not one person is born bad already. People are mean when they are only threatened. of course and people become bad because of their environment and not because they are born a bad person.

Thinking of people born bad or good is generally wrong ! I don't think so. God created everything in this world and God is good. He would never create something bad or evil. People who are bad are being tempted and has weak faith in God. They listen to evil that's why they're bad.

To a certain extent yes.The genes of anger,hatred,and cunningness are seeded in the cells which are the cause of the bad things in the future if the child grows up in the congenial atmosphere to be bad. If the same child is brought up in a very good environment it's talents are used in a very aggressive ways related to the anger and hatred.The anger may turn out to be valor and the hatred may become the fighting spirit.

I truly believe that some people are born evil. I don't think anyone has any say whether or not they will give birth to a person who may grow up to be a "monster". I think it is possible that generally good people can be turned bad by awful experiences, but you have to be predisposed to violence. I mean, i've been through some horrible things in my day but I couldn't/wouldn't kill somebody no matter what.

Indeed, you are right. We are not born bad. People's attitude are somewhat related on several aspects such as environment, the way they were raised, religion, and other circumstances, which at times were really awful which bring about negative changes to the ones affected. It's saddening but parents play a major role on this. However, at times, no matter how good the parents are, some still grow up causing disappointments and shame to the family.

i think peoples are born good not bad, people becomes bad due to the environment he or she lives, or how do thier parents raised them. but no matter how bad the people, i know there is still goodness deep inside thier heart.

For me, all babies comes from God, so they are all angels at first..It's the people, environment etc around them that contributes to how they will be raised..Good or bad..If in their growing up years something bad happened and it really affected them so much so they became bad persons..It's up to the person if he wants to stay good or be bad..I believe that the reason why we are the highest form that God created is because he gave us the brains and will to choose whatever path we wanna take..

I think it is a combination of nature and nuture. And it is something that people have always wanted an answer to because we could fix it then. One thing I always found odd, most of the psychos, killers, and overall "monsters" are very intelligent people. Somewhere along the way their course was altered. Wouldn't our world have been a lot better if Hitler or Saddam had invented the polio vaccination instead of annilihation?

People arent born bad. Its just that the environment in which they grow. That affects one's mentality. Just like if a new born baby spends 1st 5 or 6 yrs of his life with serial killers his mentality will be like them only , on the other hand if he spends his 1st 5 or 6 yrs of his life with nice minded people he'll most probably be like them. Early years of growth are most important if we are to consider his future.

I think i've got a theory to answer this...people arent born good or bad but they are born as 'who they are'. It possibly all boils down to chemistry...all the chemicals acting inside your body and this affects the functioning of your brain...you see the world as you want to see it, and this may be good or bad depending on the individual. Anyways some become overzealous and want to do something to change the world they live in, now good or bad depends on their perspective at that point in their life. Hitler was a maniac but he had a magnetic stage persona, people listened when he talked. Imagine if you planned to conquer the world...lol...good luck with that!

No one are born bad. They are only a victim of there own uncontentment in life. They want to be more than anyone in this world. They are misguided by their own will. And they have a very hard heart maybe they are not happy in there childhood and hatred are overflowing in there heart. The anger deep inside them are growing until there is no space left for love and all was cover bu hatred.

nope it doesn't. they were just being bad because of some bad people that are influencing them and others are also due to their environment or community, while others get their bad attitude for watching some not so good movies

I dont think people are born bad. It is mostly how they are raised but some do have mental problems which causes problems

i dont think people are born bad,its the incidents which take place in the life make them bad,sadam or any other bad person was not bad from his childhood ,might be some bad things happened in their life which made them bad.

In my two cents, people are not born bad physically. But naturally are bad spiritually. Why? Remember our great ancestor, Adam and Eve? They sinned after fall into temptation and so we all are born bad. You might think that I'm too religious, well, do you know that a kid know how to steal or even tell a lie to their parents even there is no one to teach them to tell lie? So, based on this example, human are sinful in nature.
