Whenever I want to buy a new dress, I look only for the design and the colour of the dress..But there are few friends of mine, who look at the price tag even before looking out the design of the dress..What do you do while selecting a new dress..Do you look at the price tag first and then the design ..or you buy the dress you like even without looking at the price tag?

i usually buy black shirts from the same brand. i go for the print of the shirt first. after deciding that i want to buy the shirt, then i look at the tag. i don't care how much the price is. as long as i like what i'm buying, that's fine with me. and besides, since i'm buying it from the same from the same brand. i already have an idea of how much the shirt costs.

yes. just the same brand anytime. i don't know the exact reason why but i have this unexplained feeling if i'm wearing a shirt from that brand. it doesn't mean that i don't have other shirts from different brands but most of it are gifts. but when i'm buying my own shirt, i only have one brand in mind. it saves time, too. instead of going around the mall looking for a shirt i want.

1stly, I will look at the design and size of the shirt that catches my eyes.. ONce i find it alright, only than i will look at the price tag b4 trying it on.. So that i can confirm my decison to buy right after i've tried on..

Designs may be wat i like and the size fits perfectly, but if it's too costly, i wun buy it too.. Though it's hard to know something that i like and fits just nice, but still i wun buy it as i believe there are other designs out there which i like too, but at a lower price..
The designs is nice, but clothes will always be clothes, new designs come out, and the old ones have to give way.. SO i wun really pay so much for clothes too ^_^ UNless it's very comfortable..

i always look at the price tag before i buy anything... when i want to buy a new dress, i will look at the clothes that i like first and then check the price... if i can afford it, then i will buy it... otherwise, i will leave it and choose other clothes... take care and have a nice day...

I probably look at the design first, and that's what attract you to look at the dress and then will I look at price and size. Depends on if I think the dress is worth that price, some can be really expensive and looks like something you can buy anywhere or maybe not that pretty after all lol

whever i go out to buy new clothes the 1s thing that catches my eye is the design of the item. this is so because the price tag is not shown on the front usually. lol. but to me in shopping the prices really do matter. once i went shopping with a friend of mine for a dinner party and she usually buys labeled clothings, when i joined her in the store i saw this black dress that looks nice and has a nice quality but it was expensive. my eyes opened wide when i saw the price. but it also looked good on me. lol. i was so torn. and i didnt find any other dresses that i like, i ended up buying it.. grr... i felt that it was a big mistake. lol.
i usually roam around the mall looking for clothings that look good with a good price, or if the price is a little bit out of my range i roam around some more to look for similar outfits but with a lesser prices. usually when i do this 'roaming around' i make sure i dont have anything else to do that day so that i wouldnt have to be rushed with anything else.

Your experience sounds good..It is always better to check out the price and then buy the clothe if it is affordable really..Moreover it should be worth spending.I too roam around the entire mall to find out clothes that best suits my taste and my purse..

Hi! Well, the first thing I see will be the design. If I think it looks good and I like it and I would most probably wear it myself then I look at it. Scrutinize it if I would be comfortable in it or not. Im a picky shopper you see. I really have to dig in and turn the shop upside down just to find a shirt that I would probably wear. The next thing that I would see is the price tag. I would not even look at the size or maybe try it in the fitting room if the price tag does not sit well with me. By scrutinizing the shirt I would have an idea of how much it will cost and how much ill be willing to pay for it. If the actual price tag is close to my guess then its as good as sold but if it doesnt well, Ill hide it in the racks so I could get back to it when I do have the money.^_^ You see if I like it Id have to buy it otherwise it would take me a really long time til I find a shirt that im going to love to buy.^_^

While hanging around the boutiques what attracts me the most is the design and then followed by the color of the clothes. I usually will check the price on the tag first. If it is on sale and the price is pretty cheap I then will try it first in the fitting room. Besides the well designed and favorite color I prefer the most is to get comfy clothes. I wont buy any clothes that makes me to feel uncomfortable even thought the design and color are fascinating and also with lower price.

I would look at the design of the garment first followed by the price tag. There's no point looking at price tag if the design does not look good.

In that case I will see whether is the garment really worth that price.

yes i am the one to look at the price tag first and then at the dress but that is for a reason, if i look at the dress first and like it very much and then see the price is too high for me to afford i get disappointed, so....

I'd be one of those people who'd look at the price tag first. After all, there's no point in me getting excited about something if I can't afford to buy it. I may as well check the price tag first off and save myself the disappointment and some time.
I hate shopping! I really, really detest it!

Yes, I do, because I want to know how much something is going to cost before I buy it. I want to make sure that I have enough of money to pay for it. I also check to see if it is worth the price that they are asking for. From this I make my decision on whether I should buy it or not...

When I see a dress that I like, of course I look at the design, next I would look at the quality of the dress. The next would be the price. If i think my money's worth it, I go ahead and try it. If it fits nicely, i'd go buy it..but if i think that it's too expensive (overpriced) and that it's not worth my money at all, I would be in search for another dress worthy of my money... :)

yeep.. cuz its all about price and its all about budgeting.

yeah, sometimes i took a glimpse of a shirt that i really like but when it comes to price; i cry.
people with jewelries on their body may not look the tags. they can even buy that dress the mannequin is wearing. (get it? ^^)
but me? i dont even go 'window shopping'. =)

lol, first I go to the counter that fits my budget, and look for the best design there. But if i really like a shirt in other counter, especially if i m buying it for gifting someone or buying for a special occasion, then i can't help buying it.

I'm not really sure. I think I might look at the tag first, but I don't really keep track of what I do when I'm looking at shirts. I know that if I'm in a store and I see a rack of clothing with a really nice price listed over them, I am more likely to check them out than if I had to go fishing for the tags. I rarely buy new clothes, though and I mostly buy casual right now. If I gain or lose a lot of weight, I might go shopping, but a lot of the nicer clothes I buy are through catalogs as I'm a tough fit because of my height.

Rarely.
We get all our clothes second hand, and we tend to go to dollar-a-bag sales in general so there aren't any pricetags. Sometimes we'll buy clothes at flea markets, so then there are pricetags.
We never buy any clothes new because why should we pay twenty bucks for a pair of pants when we can get twenty pairs of pants for a dollar?

Well as I don't have a lot of money I don' even enter those really expensive shops. I buy in those where I can afford most of the stuff and when I go shopping I know how much I can spend so first thing I do is to look for something I like and if I like it just then I look at the price tag to see how much it costs. If the price is reasonable I by it, if it isn't I don't. I wish I had more money and I could buy everything I like but the way the situation is now I simply can't afford not to look at the price tag. So if I see the new shop I stop in front of the window adn I check the prices, I don't even look at the design of the clothes in the window but just what it is and how much it costs, so if pair of summer trowsers costs $70 or something like that I don't even enter that shop.

When shopping, I first scout for a design that suits my taste. Then, I look at the price tag, weighing if it matches the quality and style of the design I've chosen.. And if it does, and I have a size that fits me and looks good on me, then, I grab it and work my way to the sales counter. :)

For me, price tag really matters! Well, maybe one of the reasons is because I'm not good financially. When I shop, I look around first. If i see something I like, I would go see the price first. If i think the price is reasonable, that's the time I try it on. If not, I will not let myself dwell on it and just walk away to the next one. I have this kind of thinking, i can buy a lot of different nice ones than buy an expensive for just one. I'd rather have more clothes than few expensive ones. I know quality matters but the time the dress spoils, I also don't want to wear it anymore. i want new ones and with more varieties.so its up to you to decide. more clothes but cheap ones or few but expensive ones?

Thank you! I'm glad you agree with my opinion. Because I kept on having arguments with my mom about these stuffs. She prefers expensive and long lasting ones while I prefer cheap but more varieties. Well, it just depends on the person's personality i guess and how he/she looks at it. It's good to hear someone on my side:)
