Orkut is popular in the Indian social circle...lol...people who dont talk in real life suddenly become the best of friends when logged onto Orkut under the anonymity of the internet...Brings forth several questions on human interactivity n' psychology. Anyways i do have an account. For the above post: Orkut is to India as Facebook is to America!

I have never even heard of orkut website. My husband heard about mylot from a friend of his at work.I am glad that he did because i never would have found it on my own.

I cannot compare Orkut and mylot....because there two are interesting for me... It never made me think that i wasting my time.....its really full of fun.....I am afraid i wouldnt be an active Orkut member.....in our place, it is the most popular social network....all of my friends has Orkut profile....we can meet together and convey messages....see their photos....videos.....there are many specialities that only Orkut has.... i have been in Orkut for 2 years...now i have 317 friends....most of them were my classmates....i got my good friends from my school...to find a friend in Orkut is very easy.... Now Orkut updated many applications most recently....sms, slapster, ipoker, youtube, music, cricket, and many more... Happy Myloting:-)

HI.. yes I have visited the orkut web site and also I have my account there.. and I think it is a gr8 site where we can make new friends we can keep in touch with our old friend , child hood friends... also we can get valuable information from the communities ... I think it really nice... so keep orkuting :-).. isn't it?

Yea,may be in a way you are right. Orkut addiction is just like mylot addiction.Both are difficult to over come. But,comparing orkut and mylot,I think mylot is better in many aspects. Here in mylot,you both improve your knowledge,typing skills and English language.But,in orkut,you can't guarantee all these,because in orkut we mainly browse and do not give any work to the brain. Well there is no comparision between orkut and mylot. I am an active member of orkut. Orkut is place to keep in touch with friends, especially with those who stay quite distant. You can make new friends. Send public scraps(messages), Upload photos, videos of your choice. can join communities of your interest. Its a social networking website and there is a lot of fun. Its more like facebook or myspace. Even its more organised and good looking than mylot. Though no earning options there.

I think orkut has become very boring. Facebook is much better then orkut. Also i feel orkut has some kind of a virus. I like mylot more then any other networking site. ~Pinks~
