My LAN card has burnt due to Thunder.... Suggest me some Precautions

Because of rains in our area my LAN card has burnt due the big thunder Is there any problem with the LAN card or the LAN card company which I had brought, suggest me precautions or the good company LAN card.

ravismartcoder Hi.. Next time when rain is falling or lightning plugged out your all electrical product. I don't think its due to bad manufacturer company I think its due to Power or electricity.

ravismartcoder I much eat in a day... I take my bad tea then I take my break fast.. after that I take my lunch.. and at evening I have take some snacks and in the last I take my dinner before go for sleep. I often take juice if I feel hungry.
