Makes a lot of sense Lambchoper, only thing is what one person considers justice another one considers it unjust. As long as we're human I think we will see injustice. Still, we should strive for some measure of justice for all.

I don't think it is always something bad. Sometimes people just have a different belief system. Different cultures. Then their are our own perceptions of what exactly equality means. It's very different for some people. I know, for myself, I don't believe that dressing "gender neutral" makes me equal to anyone. I bring that up because I saw it was part of a lawsuit settlement in New York. A restaurant agreed to make their employees dress "gender neutral" as part of a settlement from a suit filed by a lesbian who was discriminated against. Apparently for her, though, there was some sort of justice in that. I don't know what I would have considered justice in her shoes, but I'm pretty sure the dress code wouldn't be what I would look at.

Maybe it's naive of me to think we should strive for it for ourselves and for others but I can't think of a more fulfilling way to spend my life. It ain't for everybody but it's perfect for me.
I think the common denominator in dissatisfied people is living an unfullfilling way of life.
Back your beliefs up with action. Peace LC

I haven't seen you since I was a snotty nosed young duckling! Good to see you.
IMHO, hatred is the antithesis of love, and has to exist for love to be felt. (I think love would still exist, but I don't think we'd have anything to measure it against).
The rest of my blathering opinion, is that I do not think justice and equality are ever a possibility with the diversity we have in our people.
If every man, woman and child were given 2 million dollars today, and moved into identical houses and were furnished identical cars. All would be given a job to do. I am certain someone would feel cheated by the end of the week. Something in their past would entitle them to more, or someone would be finding a way to get their neighbor's money. There really can't be justice for people who convince themselves that everyone is out to get them. They are the consummate victims who give you a dirty look because you gave them your seat on the bus. They think you want something from them.
By the end of three years, I pretty much guarantee that the rich would be rich, and the poor would be poor.
Equality and justice will be where it is now.
Of course, you and I will be sipping pina coladas on a white sandy beach, thankful that someone gave us the 2 mil. For us there will always be justice, because we are thankful for whatever we earn, or receive.
