Are You Ready to Die?

I wish I could be one of those who aren't scared of death. I believe it takes much faith to be able to fully understand it. Though I try, I still find it difficult to simply accept that I would one day lose the ones I truly care about.
The thought makes me want to cry, but then I know that I'd one day have to face such fear...the death of the ones I love---and my own. I fear death, but that's part of life...they say that when life ends, another one begins. Are you ready for such beginning?

No,I am not sure whats coming next,so I will not take risk.I don't end my life now,after living almost 100 years,I will decide for that.

We must be prepared all the time, because we will never know when we are going to die. With this, we must have live life to the fullest, we must have ask forgiveness to those who we have hurt, and forgive those who have hurt us. We must have said i love you to the person we loved. We must have tried to live a rightful life. To do things in the eleventh hour is some kinda too late.

I wanted to write impractical. Because, you feel like crying for obvious things. Be practical, as long as your beloved are there, enjoy their company. When they will not be there, somebody will come to fill up the gap. Keep the door open only. Enjoy life, don't cry. It has been designed in this way.

I think i'm too afraid of dying. I'm even got scared when i read the title of this thread!
The time i was diagnosed to have VSD (ventricular septal defect) and as they described to me what that is... I was really really afraid. I was thinking, how long will i still be living and i felt like crying. The fact that it was in the same month i got married, made me afraid that my husband will be loosing me too early.
It made me quit my job which is in a night shift. I dont really care if i quit my job,i care for my life more. I care for all the people caring for me and i still want to make them happy in my own simple way.

I guess you are in the position to be scared, and that is normal. It is not easy to accept things like that( though I don't fully understand what VSD is), but I guess being able to express one's fear may somehow help in overcoming it. Get well soon, don't lose hope, prayers bring about miracles.

to be honest i am not afraid to die as we all know that it is bound to happen.
but what i fear the most actually is that, i may not have prepared much for my kids, they can be on their own? how will they manage? who will look after them?
leaving them actually is my fear, more than dying itself...
(i hope i make sense)

I wasn't scared to be born, so I am not going to be scared to die. We are all going to die some day, and I'e got way too much living to do to worry about the inevitable.

oh no, not yet..Im still young and I haven't done many of the things I want done in my life yet before I die..Besides, my kids are still young and I want to see them finish their education and finally settle down with their own families..I wanna grow old with my husband and visit the memory lane hand in hand...But if my fate would be to die young, I pray to God to at least give me some warning so that I can settle some things and say the proper goodbyes..

I'm not scared of dying. But if you'll ask me if I'm ready. No, I'm not but if it's our creator's will that I must go, it's alright. I just borrowed my life to Him. Why I'm not ready yet, I think its because I haven't done much yet that supports my purpose or mission of living here on earth. I don't know my mission but I'm doing my best to do the right things. Happy life! =)

I am not ready to die because I got a lot of dreams ahead of me. However, I'm not afraid to die. It's two different thing. I'm not afraid because I know it's God will . I don't have to be so much attached in material things. I know if ever I'll pass away today, i have touched other life and I have been able to help other lessen their burden.

Talking about it prepares one for it. It's not being morbid or anything. It's a fact of life, we all eventually will go. I can't say I'm ready for such beginning but if I die earlier than I expected, then so be it.

After and accident I had I was given 3 hours to live. Obviously I did not die but I am also not so afraid any more as I do not remember how it felt. If I had a terminal illness I would prefer not to know how long I had as I think that would be horrible feeling to know and start counting down the days.

Im Ready to die let it come whenever it wants im never feared of when it going to come as whens it the time to come no one could stop it
and however u cant live ur life in fear even if u know that when ur going to die
im ready whenever it comes and i will live my life without any fear enjoying my life

I have been thinking about things like this since I'm still a child;and always I'm so afraind that I can't fly my thoughts any more.oh,god!what an awful thing it is if we die one day and won't know anything which is going on in the real world!It's really terrible!

HI, I DONT THINK any one is really really ready to die...dont think so...well for starters i am not..i just feel there is so much more i would like to do, including my family happy..i could go on with the list of things i would like to do...

No, I am not ready to die. I want to grow old with someone... I have so many dreams that I haven't done in my life so no.. I haven't thought of dying yet. Cheers!

I'm not ready to go just yet but I'm not afraid of it either. My time will come when it comes. I have lost some who were very special or close to me and I will see them again. When I go my only regret will be the sadness of those I leave behind.
