I have really skinny legs and even smaller ankles. So when I wear capris my ankles look even skinnier and my feet stick out like two boats! I have tried different kinds of shoes....and don't like the way they look! I also have tried different lengths of capris trying to find an area where my feet don't look so long! (I am average shoe size) Does anyone else struggle with this and have you found a solution? Or does anyone have an idea of how I could make this better?

Now I know you are my sister..lol I have extremely small ankles and very skinny legs. Look like a walking toothpick in capris. I would love to know if there is a way I can also wear them as I have a couple of pairs. What was I thinking when I bought them? Maybe thinking my ankles would get fat! I can wear shorts just fine without looking too bad. Which is worse, fat or skinny ankles? I'm 5'6" so I look silly in capris. My shoe size is 8 or 8 1/2 so I also look like my feet are boats. Please, somebody help us out there.

I found socks didn't really make alot of difference. I bought some cute capris last year and they didn't look too bad but this year, no way can I wear them since I lost weight. Wish there was some make up that would make my ankles look bigger. If I find out a good secret about fattening up the ankles, I will let you know.

My advice is to ignore the problem and get on with your life. I wear what I want, regardless of ow my body looks. I think we are way too hung up on how things are "supposed to look," in this day and age, and if we don't measure up to the standard, we think there is something wrong.

I have the SAME PROBLEM! The only thing I have found that works is to wear heels, they don't have to be high heels, but anything with a heel on it makes my feet look 'normal'. It works even better when the shoe has an ankle strap to help give my ankles 'bulk'.
I hope this helps!!!!

Wow! Another one of us. I went out last night and tried to find a shoe with a strap.....I also thought that might help and you know what? I couldn't find any. I also thought that maybe a chunkier shoe would work....couldn't find any of those either.....I did buy a pair that come right below the knee and I'll see how they work. But I think you are right about the heel thing....and I will keep looking for one with a strap! Thanks for all the good advice!!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this problem!! lol
It also doesn't help me that I have really long skinny legs...so wearing super high heels doesnt make it any better. I do tend to wear kitten-heeled dress shoes if I wear capris. I have ONE pair of flip-flops that do okay. Other than that...I just don't know. Someone needs to post an expert answer! lol
