This is my raised bed along side my garage out in my backyard. I have some Irises planted along with some Astillibes and some natural Minnesotan grasses growing here. They are all perenials coming back each year. As it was a nice day and warm I decided to do some weeding etc early morning before it got too warm for me. Do you have a raised flower bed like this at all? Did you get outside today at all?

It's MY famous gnome that was buried in snow this winter and that my son broke his arms and killed the frog as well as the wheelbarrow. But no, this is not the Travelocity Gnome.

No raised flower beds here. Just my raised garden. I showed you a pic of it last year, remember? If not, I can upload another for ya.

My neighbor has a HUGE veggie garden in back thats raised and about 3 times the size of my garden. I talked to him tonight and told him I am hiring him next year to dig mine and build it for me.

Maybe next year I will turn the whole side of my house into a raised bed, it would look good, but would have to have plants that don't need a lot of watering because it is on the other side of the house, too much work to bring the hose over and it is the side that when it rains, it doesn't get really wet, the dry side...

That looks really nice, in fact the garden looks like it is very nice. We moved into our house nearly 3 years ago and have never done anything in the garden, we now have the money to get it done and it is being done in June, I cannot wait.
We have some wild Bluebells that grow in our garden every year, when the garden is done then I want them saving and re planting over the other side of the garden, I am putting a pic of them on here that I took the other day. I love them, they are so beautiful.

I didn't get outside today for very long, it was a bit cold and windy.. I have a couple of raised flower beds near my front porch and they are all bursting forth with flowers that I planted years ago, forgot the name of them, plus flowers that were here when I moved in.. They are growing pretty well right now.. They too are periennels.. Have a great day..

Yes, I am but not sure what.. As soon as I get the time to do some transplanting, my "Green Thumbed" neighbor has a few that she is going to pass along to me.. She knows the name of them but I will have to write it down or I will forget.. Happy gardening to you..

For my veggie garden area this year I dug it by hand and turned
the soil by hand. Talk about back breaking work. Ugghh!

No, I don't have a raised flower bed nor was I able to go out and enjoy the nice weather either since I had to work today. Though if it is nice one day this weekend I will have to cut the grass. UGGHHH, this is a weekly chore lately!

Hi GRANDPA BOB! All of our flowering plants are on clay pots and only the vegetables are planted directly in the soil. Unfortunately, I am just couped inside the house because it is raining so hard here and have strong winds. Typhoons have been visiting us day after day now. I hope the typhoon will rest away from us for awhile.
Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

I have not been outside yet today, but it is only 7 am. I have to go out later, but I am not sure if I will get any gardening done today. I like your raised bed. We do not have anything like that here. My sister did that once and it turned out pretty nice.
