Talk to me...please...I don't feel like talking to you...

Ever been in that weird kind of mood...especially posting here? The best way I can exlain it is that I want people to talk to me but I don't feel like talking to them...maybe that didn't explain very well. I read discussion but don't feel like answering. I don't have anything to say but I'm still yearning for the interaction. If you have felt like this, how do you get out of it? Any ideas?

I have experienced that also, and most of the time, I will browse first the replies of other people and learn from them before I can come up with my ideas! There are several topics that I have encountered and I have totally no idea about it! There are instances also that no matter how I tried to think, my brain will not function, moment like this, I will take a break by relaxing first then when i feel like I am ready, I will log in again!

I think I did just need a break...it turned into "one of those weekends" and I wasn't on at all yesterday. I'm back today and feeling better so far.

haven't had that happen here--- but when I read your post title I was thinking that you meant in real life. And right now, I'm having that issue at home. Just a little lovers quarrel I guess.... I'll (well HE) better get over it! I hate when men get in bad moods.

I don't know...it could apply here at home as well...sort of. I can't even call it a "lover's quarrel", more like a "I'm not even wasting my time being angry with you because it does no good so just leave me alone"

yes.. i feel that... its like you want people to just be there for you... and it doesnt matter what they say, what they tell you but you dont want them to expect to hear from you... just that they are there and have seen you... hehe doesnt makes sense??

On numerous occassions in the recent past, i have been in such situations, the mood that you are describing,..Very Weird, when i say, Very weird, it is really that much..here is what that runs in my mind when i read the topics as started by my friends here ... " O! i must type at least four or five lines for each topic, to this friend, and to this guy.. and heck.. all for less than 10 cents.."

Yes it was very weird...and agree about the thoughts...what little I could think of to say just didn't feel worth it.

Yeah, I have times that I feel like that, read an read discussions, and really don't have anything to say so I read some more until I stumble upon something that I can respond to just like this discussion, I haven't found too much that I felt like responding too and found this discussion in my inbox and responded to it! LOL

Well, glad I could help! My mood just hasn't been great the past few days and I think that was a lot of it.

Hi foxyfire, how are you? Well what I can say is try to look behind the words. Behind the words exist a person, so try to feel this person and it needs. Maybe can be an advice, comprehention, to don't feel alone, etc. Try to get on their position and I'm sure that you can get interaction. It's my opinion because it's what I do. good luck

You know, you just made a very good point. Lot's of us just need the interaction...to know we are noticed...maybe I'm just over thinking things. Instead of trying to give 'the right answer' all the time I should just be satisfied with giving 'an answer' because that answer may be all that person really wants.

I have that same feeling as well, sometimes my mind just floats as I stare at the posts. When that happens, I would search first those funny posts to jump-start and pump up my mood. If I can't find any, then I might just log-off and wait for my mood to change.

Funny posts are probably a good way to jump start a "mood" Thanks for the idea. I would log off and come back later but there's no one here (home) to talk to either and I probably won't be able to get back on later.

When I get into that kind of a slump, I start looking for discussions to respond to from my interest, and the more passion I have about something, the more likely I am to respond.

Normally that's what I'd do too...I just couldn't get myself to feel 'passionate' about anything. I blame it on mood and hopefully it'll be better today.

True, there are days like that, but the good thing is that they are only here and there and not everywhere.
