My daughter shut my poor 5 month old kitties leg in the door this morning I took her to the vet and she has a small fractrue they are going to put a cast on it and give her pain meds and keep her till Monday. I already miss her and so does her sister Frisky has been looking all over for her. Has you cat ever had to stay at the vet? Did you and your other cats miss them terribly?

Yeah, that is horrible that your cat is in the vet's office undergoing treatments. I bet you enjoyed the pet a lot. I see that you missed her. I hope that your cat will be ok. That is not fun that your pet has to go to a vet for a certain time.

I feel so sorry for you! My cat has never stayed at a vet, but I can imagine how you are feeling! But think about the good things, that the cat is in good hands at the vet. It would be hard if you got her home and then she started to feel worse. At least in Sweden the vets aren't open on weekends so then you would have had to wait til Monday to bring her back!
Hope your kitten feels better soon and you get her home without problems on Monday!

My vet is open until noon on Saturdays and this happened at 10:30 so I was able to get her up to the vet while they were open.

My cats have never been injured and have to stay at the vet. But my chihuahua when she was a couple of years old jumped out of my arms and injured her leg and had to have a cast put on it. That's been a long time ago, at least 8 years ago when that happened.

My cat has been cut on her leg by others when she went out. It did hurt very much. She could barely walk when she came back. Fortunately, she didn't have to go to the vet. We treated her ourselves. It hurt definitely but it was OK. She just have to stay inside for about a week.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that. Hopefully your great cat will be ok. Did your daughter actually do shut the door on the cat's leg by accident? Well, I used to enjoy cats. But now, not anymore. So, I am not a catperson at all. I know this a serious case.
