Linux, with their newest version is also a friendly user. This operating system is now great. For me, Linux and Windows are in the same level when it comes to friendly user. I'm using Linux in my computer laboratory classes. And I'm also using Windows at my house.

Can you guess from my Icon? Hehe, maybe not, 'cause I might change it some day. Seriously though I have pretty much given up on Windows, the only reason I go in there is to game every now and then (and mylot is taking up all my gaming time ;) ). I use Ubuntu Linux and have for years, very user friendly as long as you remember that it's not Windows.

For now i prefer Windows, because i'm already get use to it and still lazy to learn about Linux :p i ever try Linux once, but not really like it yet, but maybe someday i'll switch to Linux since lately i heard that Linux has developed pretty much in user friendliness and yet it's more stable and has less virus than Windows, and maybe still no virus for Linux yet :p

I prefer Windows, because I don't have knowledgement enough to use Linux. Some Linux is too atractive, but too hard for me!

I think choosing Linux or windows will differ on your daily activities.. if you use your computer only for internet browsing buying online, chating, checking emails, streaming and all kinds of activity that uses the web i prefer linux since linux is 100% safe when it comes to computer virus and other harmful software in the internet today because of the great security features of linux in short you don't need to worry. but if you use your computer for gaming, typing, videos, and sound trip..i prefer to use windows since windows have many computer software support but of course be careful in entering sites that is anonymous or not a known sites..

Linux is not the difficult to use system that many people imagine, and most current distributions are very user friendly. There are times when a little command line is needed, but the majority of the program runs just as simply as Windows.

Windows,it's popular in computer players. But Linux,it can do very much things what windows can't do. So,I thinks programmers like linux, because it has more free.

I prefer the windows OS, beucause of having so many softs to support it. linux have more efficiency to perform some programs, but It is no convenient to be used for me.

I feel it's down to personal preference. I use both Windows, Linux, and MacOSX. User friendly can mean different things to different people, I'm quite technically able so I use Debian Linux on my main desktop machine, but my father uses Ubuntu Linux. While my father isn't a technical person he has been able to learn how to use Linux, and in his experience he doesn't see much difference from Windows, if anything hes happier as it does everything he wants it to do without the risk (in his eyes) of running Windows.
