I prefer to watch football tournament on tv. I feel more relaxed to stay at home and save much time as I don’t have to take the trouble to go to the stadium. In tv show I could see exciting movement to be replayed. I understand that in certain grand tournament it is very difficult to get the ticket which is normally very expensive. Though on the real scene the atmosphere is very high and excited I still prefer not to travel all the way to the stadium which is situated few hundred km away from my house.

In my case i would enjoy both because the Stadium gives us reality, affection, and prides enjoying yourself with other spectators. If you watch football in stadium you will feel the difference and your love for the club you like is more than ever and you want to express that out as much as you can by doing something with other people like singing, shouting, cheering, etc. As for the TV it provides me convenient, when i don't have car or time to travel to the stadium. I would prefer to sit at home and enjoy my football game while eating and drinking something from McDonald or KFC loll.

at home in tv would be nice, but sometimes i'd like to see live action in the stadium.. the crowd's reaction as the game progresses is quite different in the stadium. you can almost smell the players sweat.. :)

If its your team playing nothing beats a stadium with its atmosphere and sense of unity, although you can't see replays and analysis you could always watch that when you come home.

Hello as2006. Like you, I also prefer watching football and some other games at home before my TV set. It is much more comfortable to stay at home watching the game.

I prefer TV for the same reason, but actually I would prefer to watch soccer over football, and I would prefer to take a nice walk in the woods or along the seashore or go for a swim than to watch sports.

Me too. I'm not a great football fan, but when I do watch it I like to be at home so I can be comfortable and get food. Things can get a bit rough at a stadium too if the other fans go a bit crazy or it's really crowded. Another choice is to go and see it at the pub which is what lots of people do here. That can be fun as you can get some sort of atmosphere without actually being at the game.

Actually I am not that big a sports fan, and so I prefer not to see football at all. I have watched part of a few games but thats about it.
