Are you happy with this years winner?

I am also happy that David Cook won the contest... i think the judges over reacted when they gave all praises to David Archuleta... Cook is definetely the more versatile and interesting between the two Davids... aside for that... he is not afraid to take risks... and he is such a nice guy... David Archulet is still young... and i am sure he will have a succesful singing career after this...

I was happy he won. I was so sure Dave A was gonna win this one so I was extremly pleased to hear cook won. They will both have great careers but its still nice to see cook win.

Although I don't listen to rock music much, I found David Cook's singing very entertaining and refreshing. He has a very unique, soothing and sexy voice, very nice to listen to. I wouldn't mind either he or David Archuleta winning, because both are great singers who wow the crowd with their captivating singing. So I'm happy that Cook won. In the past Idol series, rockers like Chris Daughtry and Bo Bice did well and impressed the audience and judges, but they never made it to the very top. David Cook has finally changed that and won it for the rockers!!

i was very glad david cook won. his brother was so proud of him & that made me feel good to. the year carrie underwood won she was my favorite . i hope david does as well as she has.

I am happy! He's a consistent charmer and a very good performer, almost like a professional! Hurray for David Cook! Most of all, he's very versatile and took on every challenge he faced especially when Simon made him sang Roberta Flack's First Time Ever I saw your Face! I love David Archulleta too, he has a good voice. But i'm very happy that David Cook won! Here's to you Simon!

Yes, I am happy with the results. I prefer David C. over David A. because to me David C's voice is more powerful. Though they are both good vocally. I have no doubt David A will have a singing career as he has so many fans out there.

I would have been happy either way. No, I do really mean that...lol. I prefer David Cook- I like the rough around the edges, raspy voices. ;) But, I think David Archuleta would have benefited from having the Idol contract/people guiding him for a time. That all said, I admit I was shocked when the winner was announced. I really didn't see it coming and was certain David Archuleta had it wrapped up especially after David Cook didn't step up to the plate last night like I think he could have. But, I am happy. They will both be around for a very long time...no doubt about that.

I am very happy!!!!!I love the fact that a rocker won!!I think it was the 5th season Chris Daughtry got kicked off and I was mad!But finally the person I wanted to win won.I agree with you Billie Jean blew me away to!It was the best version I have ever heard of Billie Jean.I was scared I thought that the other David was going to win cause of all the little girls that liked him.

i thought it would be archuleta because he's really good too. but i'm really happy david cook won. he's my bet and my favorite. always be my baby is one of my favorites from him... i think all the song he sang is really, really good.
