Hooking up a water line to a fridge...

Have you ever done this...? I have the water going to the fridge line (I know it's at the fridge line because I forgot to tighten the connection and it leaked at first...lol). I *think* I could hear water running within the fridge. But, no water is coming out of the dispenser when I push the button to dispense. 
I can't seem to find any info about this part of the process. I have pushed the button for a while thinking air would need to bleed out but still nothing. Help...? Anyone...??

You mean a search I got paid for? (see my profile) Yes...and while I found some great sites with the how-to...none addressed the "how long till water flows" question.
HHmmm...the link you sent doesn't apply per se because this is a brand new everything...but someone below the main q&a mentioned the filter -maybe mine isn't installed just right. The delivery guy did it, so you would think it would be, but I will recheck that.

I got it!! I happened to see in the instructions (you know...if all else fails...rofl!) that it said NOT to use th fridge filter if you have it hooked up to the RO system...which is contrary to what the delivery guys told me. So, I removed the filter and it works fine now! WOOHOO!!
