what do you miss in being a student?

I miss a lot of things and events during my school days. First, the friendly professors whom one could easily approach regarding the lessons being taught. They are never erased from my thoughts when I do reminisce. Next in line, our extracurricular events and festivals wherein we get to watch various teams play sports or perform dances and cultural arts. It is also during these times when a students does not have to or is excused to attend classes, specially if he or she will take part in one of the presentations. I also do miss participating in quiz bees and academic contests. Modesty aside, I had my share of these when I was in high school and college. It forces my mind to do better and in the process, my yearning to learn more seems to get over me. But I definitely miss my peers. During my college days, I was very fortunate to have so many friends and our peer group used to total eleven. Our unforgettable moments were endless and so special. I truly miss them but due to several factors, we haven't seen each other for more than a decade now; though a couple of them have visited me here in the office just a month ago. I call some of them once in a while but it's certainly different during those times.

I love the allowance, the dorm and the time i can hang out with friends without thinking of curfew. :) I just miss the places where we hanged out or the bonding I had friends on the field.

I missed the fun of being students, the naughty things we do, we things we share, we truancy we played.. lol =D THinking back, it's worth it for all the scoldings because that kind of fun can only happen during our student days.. As it will only happen once in a lifetime due to our childish and immature side of us.. lol

i am a graduate 11 years ago but i returned back to school last 2006 for another course. i am now on my 3rd year of BS Entrepreneurship. You are right there's a lot of stuff that you will missed in school. one of the thing that i missed for being student is free from work in the house, lots of time roaming around with friends and a lot more.

I miss hanging out with my friends the whole. I miss the allowance. I miss the part we have to cram for the exam. I miss the help we give and help I get if we don't have homework and other requirements. I miss the part where I don't have to wake up early on Saturdays and Sundays. Most of all, I miss my friends so much. Take care =)
