It was stolen yesterday when i back to house from work. My bicycle was bought shortly after the Lunar New Year, less than 3 months old. It's not belong to me anymore. The thief will definitely sell it to people nearby in case that i'd recognize.
I removed from one place to the one i'm living now, and i brought the bicycle the day before yesterday, only one day, it missed!! Unbelievable~~ I dream of riding it to buy vegetables in the market, to do exercises.
Thieves are everywhere nowadays~~ Why will they choose to steal others' belongs instead of working for their own? Hope one day they will experience the feeling that something lost for good.

Hello dear lynettebyc.
I am so sorry to hear that you have got your new bike stolen. Well, I have had my excellent mountain bike stolen. That was many years ago when I placed my bike outside a shower house. After I finished my shower, I came out to find it stolen. I was so angry for the loss and theft of my bike that is the main transportation for me when I go somewhere in the town. Later I bought another one, whose brand is Forever, made in Shanghai. Now I have been riding this bike for four years and still in good condition though it is rusty.
Another red Phoenix brand of my family was also stolen, but it was as old as more than ten years when it was stolen. I find it hard to understand why thieves steal old bikes as well since it was old.
I am wondering how they will teach their own kids with their bad behavior like this. I hope that some day they will recognize their wrong doings to other people and confess to their guilty to be good citizens.

lynettebyc I am so sorry thats really tough. brand new
and someone has already stolen it. Did you have it
locked or what? Did you let the police know as sometimes
they can track down these thieves and sometimes even
get the stolen bike back?

Hi, Hatley, i locked it and that's the thieves' good skill :( I don't tell the police nor even go to the gateguard, it is said that there're camera along the road in the living district, but i don't bother to ask. I doubt whether i can see the video and get the bicycle back

And i have one of thoses full metal u shape one which i put arund th back wheel and frame. My bike i had 4 10- 15 yrs i paid $300 back then and it has 15-18 speeds. Its in very good condition yet. I keep ity inside my apt in back rm i use for starage. But if i take it somewhere i wanna made sure its there when i come back outside.

Hello, youless, that's lucky for u but you'd better be careful, learn from my experience. Put the bicycle in the garbage if possible, lock everytime you stop riding. Maybe an old bicycle will not be stolen, as they are not gonna be sold at a desirable price.
I will miss my bicycle when there's anything inconveience by walking.
Anyway, this will pass.
Enjoy life~~

It must have been a really nice bike for someone to take it. I know that they are having fun on it right now. Don't take that the wrong way. If you brought a nice back they could have been watching it for a while before the took it. Have you thought about it; It could be right in your neighborhood. Check around and you might find it.

Hello, friend. Yes, they don't care about others' feeling at all, otherwise they will not steal it, the only thing they know is that they can earn money from this. It's an easy and good way to make a fortune if not being caught, huh?
Thanks for sharing, enjoy life~~~

I had my bicycle stolen when I was 10 years old. The thieves broke in to our house and ransacked our stuff. Aside from my bicycle they stole my dad's shoes, our old cd player, clothes that were hanging on the clothes line to dry and others that I forgot already. I just hate it when that happens! I hope they will learn their lesson.

Oh, athinapie, you reminded me. I've lost my first bicycle when i was ten. That's my birthday present. My elder sister borrowed it from me one day and it was never returned. She's escaped from seeing me for several days. I KNOW it's not her fault, it's the theives that took her away
Thanks for sharing, i'm sorry for your loss, let's move on together

Regret to hear that. Actually there is some many thieves, and sometime we on the bus, there is often a person get up bus, stand behind the door, and don't move, let other person crush in. That person alway is a thief, he will get off the bus, after standing for a while. We should be careful in our life, don't put your bicycle out, and locked in the parking place.

Hello, pal. Yeah, bus is a typical place for thieves to commit. One of my friend lost her purse in which there was cash, credit card, ID card, also she lost her student card. I also saw girls screaming the moment they were pushed on the bus that their mobile phones were stolen, so many times. Very typical, people know that but their belongings are still keeping losing.
Take care and

Yeah, i guess they enjoy the process of stealing without being noticed and earn money as well, it's easy for them maybe. People used to lie their belongs at random and even open the door without lock, but i don't think people can do this kind of thing anymore. Everyone cautious, yes, if not ,they'd lose, so everybody are on guard. Gosh, if it's not yours why not let them rest alone. When will the old good spirit come back, i doubt?

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I once also lost a bicycle in the school during my college time. I do not know why they choose to steal. Maybe they're lazy and just want to make good money by doing such deal. Or they are too poor and have no job to support their family. But anyway I think they shouldn't steal. They can resort to the local government for help.

Yeah, lots of ways for they to earn money, they just choose this way to hurt others. Nowadays it's not rare that something's stolen. Mobiles kept being stolen all the time in the street, especially when trying to get on a bus in the crowd. Most of them are not poor, they just don't want to work and try to steal others' fruits. They make our society complicated, people are afraid of speaking to strangers. It's not good phenomena i have to say.
Enjoy life~~

Sorry but thanks, chivolaki. Yeah, especially those we newly bought suffer most, caz they will earn them much more money. We have to take care of our belongs next time and try to stop this kind of thing happening again.
