Yes, I need the alarm very much. Because every evening, I like watch TV and surf the internet, and after I finish all the things, it's very late usually. For I can get up and go to work, I use the alarm to wake up, that's useful.

I do need an alarm to get up early in the morning. Recently i have joined a gym and i prefer to go to gym in the morning so i have to get up at 6am in the morning which is quite a difficult task for me which cannot be accomplished unless i get up listening to an alarm. eve if i miss out on gym, i have to get up at 8 am in the morning for my office, so i have to use an alarm again.
I normally set my alarm in my mobile. i don't have a an alarm clock. and i often tend to go back to sleep after the first time my mobile rings. I am in a habit of taking an extended nap which has proven to be dangerous for me many a times. I have missed some lectures in my college time due to the same habit. but in office, there is no restriction. No one complains even if i am 15mins late to office.
Its only during the weekends that i don't set up an alarm to get uyp but still i tend to get up by 9 or 9:30. May be because i have come into a habit of getting up early..
So i get up, wash my face, wake up my friend who accompanies me to the gym and then go for brushing up my teeth, followed by getting fresh... and then i would get up ready in the outfit respective to where i am heading for..gym or office..

I sleep very late at night, about 2-3 am so if I have to get up early for some work then I have to set 2 to 3 reminder alarms on my cell phone. I know my sleeping time is very bad but This is my habbit if I get early to bed at night then still I cant sleep and I wake up late at morning. So I need alarm to get up early. I am completely dependable on alarm to wake up from sleep everyday.

No, i never need alarm, for two things..
1) Because, from 6.AM onwards my Mom, will start waking me up, with a gap of every 10 minutes..and finally i get up.. some time after 7 or 7.30 AM..
So my Mom is a talking alarm..haha.
2) Even i keep alarm.. i will just snooze it .. and wake at convenient time..
Still i have to find the real use of alarm clock.

dear subha12 after a long gap I am once again writing this post . Normally all mornings I wake up daily as per schedule without any alarm. But occasionally when I go to tour and train timing is odd then I need the help of alarm as in the mid night or in the early morning some times it is very difficult to wake up and always suffering from fear psychosis with tension.

I really do not need an alarm clock to wake up in the morning. No matter how late I sleep at night, I always wake up almost the same time every morning. It seems that my body or mind is already programmed to wake up at a certain hour. Though when I have to wake up at an unusual time, that is if I have to travel early for a business trip, I usually used an alarm clock just to insure I will be waking early so as not to be left behind by the trip.

Hi Dear
Yes I am very much dependent on the alarm clock .. When I was a school going girl -- I didn't have any mobile phone so I used to set up alarm on the very old kind of alarm clock and to tell you frankly that alarm clock was a piece of garbage .. if I set the alarm clock at 6:00 a.m. -- it won't buzz on time -- it was full of hell. I missed my school classes many times because of the alarm clocks .. I purchased approx 4 alarm clocks that time and all were bad. But now everything is solved .. I just set alarm on my mobile phone and I know that it is going to buzz on time .. Without alarm -- I only wake up when I am in tension or I am not feeling well.

i do need an alarm to wake up. if left to my own, i'd most probably oversleep everyday. i love to sleep very much. in fact, i slept at 12mn yesterday and woke up 5pm today. it seems that i can never get enough sleep unless i sleep at least ten hours. yes i know it sounds funny but i really need a lot of sleep. i use the alarm on my mobile phone as it has a snoozer. i'll use the snoozer at least three times before i can bear to leave my bed. cheers

i used to wake up all by myself before during weekdays. but then, i wanted to make sure that i won't be late for any appointments and work so now, i use my cellphone's alarm clock to wake me up during weekdays or days when i have an early appointment. but during weekends or days that i have no work or appointment, of course i don't set my cellphone alarm clock. i just wake up when i want to.

I do need one especially now that I need to wake up two hours earlier than my usual waking time. But when I'm really tired the night before, it's still hard for me to wake up even with the help of an alarm clock. That's why I'm very fond of the snooze feature.
