Lit Steeple

I think it's a beautiful picture. At first I would've liked the cross to have more lighting but it lends the picture a mysterious slant--is religion hidden in the dark corners of our lives or are we deliberately taking away its light? Or, looking at the base of the steeple, is the light making its way up, eventually bringing the light of religion into the darkess? It's a fabulous picture. The fact that it's a little off center appeals to me, as life is so often off center.

Oooh that is pretty, I like it. I wouldn't worry about it not being centered. According to all the photography stuff I've read you shouldn't have your main object centered anyway (if you want a dramatic picture).

...all criticism is welcome? Well, I have to get right over there (I'm in email notifications.. no image of course) and see just what I can find wrong with it.. I'm just not happy unless I've passed out a little sourness and criticism everyday.. thanks!

I commented on the picture earlier today. I have four days off from work and I hope to go and do some picture taking and hope to capture some steeples as well. That is something that has been drawing my attention lately.

There is a church a few miles from us that has a steeple that lights up..I love it when we drive past it at night, it is very pretty..Will leave my comment in the photo..
