breyers ice cream now has a fried ice cream flavor for sale at most grocery stores. it is pretty much vanilla ice cream with cinnamon and carmel. It is good though!
Someday I would like to try the "real thing" but I haven't seen it anywhere to get it in a good 5-10 years.

I've never tried it before, but I've seen it made. It's kind of like making fried mozerella sticks. I'd rather just stick wit normal un-fried ice cream. xD

Hi! I havent tasted one but I really really want to! I even asked a friend in Manila to give me some when she comes back home even if it will melt.LOL! Anyways Ive seen on tv how they do it and its just basically a scoop of ice cream drizzled with raw egg and then fried. There's a process and it take hours. You have to freeze and fry it many times and for many hours until its solid enough so you can fry it without melting fast in oil right? If I have to imagine I guess it will just taste like ice cream but with a sort of sunny side up egg feel to it. Anyways, who am I to say when I have not eaten one of it too but hey! I said if I have to imagine.^_^ When you do know and when you really have tasted one, let me know.^_^ Thanks!

I know it.. but I'm yet to try it. It looks good though... When I first heard about it, I was like, "How can you fry ice cream?" And then I watched in a chow how they make it.. They have this frying machine which is actually a supper cooler. It has this flat metal which looks like a cooking plate, but is actually a super freezer which is also like frying. A special ice cream liquid is poured and shaped like pizza then, it freezes/(fries), and then they scrape it making it roll into tube like ice cream pieces...I hope it tastes as good as it looks,,hehe. Have you tried it?
