This number is the total number of discussions, and responses one has made. Now it can also include comments added to it. but, when you respond to a discussion you can also add a comment to another members response in that same discussion and earn one more point for that comment. But you can only earn the 2 points in each discussion.

Hi,
The number in the ( )means the total number of posts you have done in myLot. Everytime you complete a respond or comment, the number will increase. The larger the number the better.
Once you reach 100 posts, you will get star. When you reach 200 posts, you can use emoticons. Then, when you reach 500 posts, you will be able to copy and paste.
Happy mylotting.

Olonam, it's the number of responses you've made... you can check it by taking note of your number and then respond to one post and you will notice afterwards that this nuber increased. Experts here says you get star when reached 100, I'm not yet in that stage, so i still yet to find out. It's always good to look at the MyLot FAQ from time to time to get informed with something we don't understand yet here. It'll be worth your time. You will eventually get to know the ins and outs of this community, the rules, the do's and don'ts and everything there is to know. But a lot of friends here are very supportive too, so I'm sure there is always somebody who would answer to every question we have.

The number stands for the amount you post the discussion. When you post a discussion, the number will add one.

Yes,it denotes the number of posts.
The discussion you start will also be considered as one of the post if there are atleast 2 responses or there is a response and a comment.
Another important thing is that the comments which you post to others responses won't be counted for the number of posts.
However,I think they will consider your comments also for your earnings.
When you reach 100 posts, you will get a star. Its the rating star.It shows the extent to which your response is liked by others.
When you reach 500 posts, you can copy and paste. You will also get the power to add images to your responses and comments. If you are less than 500 posts, you can only add an image to the discussion you start.
Cheers! Have a fantastic day
Happy mylotting and happy earnings.

It includes the amount of discussions
as well as responses you've made in total.
Plus it can include comments added to other
discussions you've responded to.

It is definitely the number of your posts here in myLot. If some posts are deleted, I guess the number between the parenthesis will also be affected.
I have been here in mylot for months and observed that number of posts affect the earnings of course but it is the length and sense of posts that really matters. Happy posting. :)

Thank you for asking. I'm just starting out and I was curious about the number as well. Since I have about half of the posts you have I've decided I have to catch up! ^_^

The number of points you have made, thats what that number'
is and what mylot uses to figure your earnings. At least
that has been my understanding.
