Is anyone here the parent of a child who has died? I am and would like to share.

Our son died at the hands of a drunk driver 24 days before his 24th birthday. His last birthday would have been on 4/20/04. We miss him every day. It's hard but we are dealing with it. Four years have passed and some days it's still hard to believe.
If you have lost a child, too, please share. We need each other's support.

I have not lost a child, but want to reach out to you and express my deepest of condolences to you.
I am so sorry for your tragic loss.
Was the drunk driver convicted of what he did? I sure hope so!
Have you thought about joining the MADD program??
Are there any online support groups that you belong to for support?? I am sure there must be something out there.

Thank you very much.
I do belong to MADD and run a fundraiser, plus ask people to donate in my son's memory. The driver did go to jail. He is out now.
I also belong to Compassionate Friends. As I said, I am dealing with it but I also like to reach out to others who are there, too, so I can give them support, and hope, too.
