Woman delivers her own baby while on the way to the hospital

This is my first day off, so I'm a little behind on reading up on the news. Did you hear this one? The 8 minute drive to the hospital was too long! The woman used a towel in the car to catch the baby while hubby was driving her to the hospital! Wow! Amazing! Umbilical cord wasn't cut right away, but hospital says baby will be fine!

Wow, the woman was courageous.. i wonder why she waited for the very last minute to go the hospital. According to me she has risked her safety and the risked the life of the new born. She should have gone to the hospital well in advance..
But estherlou, i read more news of this kind of late,and could not understand why they do so, may be there are one or two exception cases, which is definitely
unavoidable.

Hello estherlou. I have also read similar news about ladies delivering babies on their way to the hospital. I think that it is a good idea for them to go to stay in the hospital earlier for at least one or two days earlier so that the baby will be born in the hospital for its safety as well as the mother's. Bless mothers of the world and their babies as well. Thank you for the information and the link.

Hi estherlou! Wow, that is amazing but a nerve-wrecking experience if I may say so. I am just glad to hear the wonderful news that the baby is really fine. I do admire the mother's courage and strength for delivering her own baby. I wish them all well.

my godmother's daughter did this also-her second child came so fast,even though it was less than a 15 minute ride,he was born in the car.some kids are just in a hurry;)
