Actually I don't mind it. Kids are kids. When I was a child, I also liked to do things like that. People has different judgments. When we see something common, but actually children think they are beautiful.
My child loves to stick the stickers to the fridge, tables, desks, chairs, bathroom, laptop etc. That's no problem for me. Sometimes I even say it looks better. So right now my laptop has many funny stickers and others shall wonder what's wrong with me I regard it as little gifts from my son

It is so funny i came across this post because my little girl asked if she could put a sticker on the wall and i said no. I just got my apartment painted and i don't want sticker on my new painted walls. I think giving them a spot to be creative is what works best for us. not having her creativity all over the place

i don't have a child yet... but i don't think i will mind them playing with stickers when i have a child in the future... i would prefer them to play with stickers rather than something else which is more dangerous like knife, etc... i think kids playing with stickers are natural and it is quite nice actually to see them sticking the stickers to decorate the table, chair, etc... and they can be removed anyway... so there is no harm at all... take care and have a nice day...

Hi youless! When my brothers and I were growing up, we were sticking stickers too on the fridge and in each other's closets and the closets of our parents. My parents let us stick them. So, I think if I am going to have a child, I will just let her do the same thing. haha..
Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

my son does this also. there is a mr. yuck sticker on our bathroom floor that I just haven't had the heart to take off...there's also one on the back of our front door.
It doesn't bother me, but it sure bothers other people. The only thing I worry about are the smaller stickers he puts no the walls but then don't stick and fall to the floor where his baby sister tries to eat them - I don't want her to choke!
But mostly they don't bother me and if I wanted to take them off a little goo gone would do the trick :)

When my younger brother was still small he used to like sticking the stickers in my dad's wooden cabinet. So today, when he sees the cabinet full of different kinds of stickers he laughs. I think its good to let children stick stickers.

I don't think it's such a big deal. They can be taken off so it's not like things are ruined after stickers are put on them. Kids like stickers because they're cute little things that can be put anywhere so naturally they'll want to use them.

Your right, kids are kids, and will be kids. But I do not like when my daughter put stickers everywhere. She likes to put them on the desk and floor. When I take the sticker off the desk, the top layering of the desk comes off as well. And it is hard to get it off of the floor, you have to scrub to get it off.

This kind of activity brings out joy to us, while watching them enjoying playing with this things. Ceratainly my niece, who is now 5 years, do repeat the same as you described.
Infact she goes one step further, by painting on the walls, using the color pencils, sketches etc. She used to write what are all, she was taught in the school,on the wall.
I used to say... perhaps these are .. "writings on the wall"
Cheers friend.

No, I think it's really cute. Parents get too uptight with that no, no, no attitude. My son filled his room one night with those little green plastic stickers in the shapes of moons and stars.
They glow in the dark. We don't live there anymore, I wonder if the new owners ever got all those stickers off?

I do mind that activity. I tell my daughter not to do that, if not, she will put her sticker everywhere and it will ruin my paintings and decorations at home. I do provide her with a sticker books so she can put it in her book but not on the wall. If it is a removable stickers, I tell her to stick it on her bedroom door.

In my old apartment my wall used to be painted by very creative artist-my daughter. I think that at some point we have to go with kids creation, because it helps with future growth and development.

I also don't minde my baby sticking stickers anywhere and everywhere... sometimes i would see one on her cheeks... that that looks so cute... my fridge is not yet full of them... but i often see her getting the stickers out of her toys... and sticking them somewhere else... like the couch or our bed frame... kids will be kids...
