For those of you who are against using marijuana, why? What do you think the big deal is?
A lot of people out there will say it's "wrong" to use marijuana. Well, I want to know why! What is it about the drug that you think is bad for the person using, the people around them, or society in general?
(Legality aside, that is.)

Inhaling smoke of any kind is bad for your lungs. Other than that there's nothing wrong with it.
If loving it is wrong I don't want to be right!
Seriously, I don't smoke it anymore but it's for no particular reason. I just stopped.
That said, I am going to Vegas this weekend maybe I should go buy a little.

Yeah, I go through periods where I smoke it daily for months and then don't smoke at all for months. I never really miss it, I don't even really think about it until I randomly decide to buy some more...

I'm not personally opposed to it, it's just not really my thing. I've had a contact high once, but that's the extent of my personal experience with pot.
However, I did watch some of my friends who were fairly regular users, and I honestly could see the change in their behavior and personality. They would claim that it didn't affect them, but it really did. So after my one limited experience, I just really wasn't interested at all.

I've never had a contact high... I have seen my cats become quite hyper when they are smoked around and I felt REALLY bad for doing that (I didn't do it on purpose!) so when I do smoke I put them in another room... People who purposely get their pets high make me sick.
Yeah, I think pot can have a big effect on some people, it just all depends on the person and how much they choose to smoke and let it change their life...

Nope, pretty hard to overdose, meaning die from too much. Statistics have proven that nobody has ever done it. I think they said it would take a few pounds of it and you would fall asleep before you were able to smoke that much. I guess you could only do it if you spent a couple hours eating that much, before it affected you and you had to stop.
Again, statistics prove this has never happened.

I don't see a problem with it, except for the possible health issues that habitual smokers can run into, like bronchitis and the like. Again, I don't think it's a problem until you're doing it everyday, then I think there may be some issues.

wooitsmolly_ What an incredible response after only one day. You touched a nerve.
I think pot is perfectly legit and it's only another example of our government trying to control us by fear.
Why can't we relax and leave people alone?
I don't know if you'll think this website is too lengthy, but I'll put it here for kicks. The site deals with several touchy issues and it's interesting.
