Right now I'm on the verge of finishing a completely crocheted baby doll. Its for one of my best friend's daughter. She turns one in July and I thought it would make a great gift. When I started making it I had no clue the amount of time I would put into it! The body, and arms, legs and even dress didn't take me long, but the hair, oh my, I felt like I'd be crocheting it forever! I had to crochet 4 yards of what can only be described as loops! I have one arm left to do an then I have to sew the hair onto its head in a circle fashion its cute!
I also have a Pooh bear in the works for my daughter, she just turned 3! Its actually a Winnie the Pooh pattern, my mom bought it for me. I had to put it on the back burner for awhile tho because I hit a part of the pattern that confused me! But now I think I've got it figured out so when I finish the doll I'll be going back to finish Pooh!
So what about you all? What do you have in the works? WHat are you working on right now?

I am crocheting headbands. I made a black one awhile back, and I really like the way it look so I am now making a green. I also am finishing up a baby blanket. I brought the yarn at a garage sale, and it's not enough. I thought about ripping it out, and start over again, but that was a bit much. I am just going leave it small. I am making it for a charitable organization so I guess a premie can use it.

I'm going to start looking for my yarn at garage sales and consignment shops. I do lots of little critters. Just today I made a little dragon fly and right now I'm working on a bird!

I have some newly-drilled pieces of beach glass that I'm amking into braceltes and a necklace. I also just bought a beautiful piece from a collector in Puerto Rico, a wonderful light purple piece that I'm going to wire-wrap or bezel-wrap for the focal piece of a necklace (though I haven't decided if I'm selling that piece or keeping it for myself )

I do that with some of my things, can't decide if I want to give it, put it in my sell pile or keep for myself!

I crochet baby afghans for those that are having babies at our church and I just finished one and have three more to make. I have a quilted purse over half way done and have so many other projects ready to start. I have crocheted dolls before and they turn out so cute! You daughter will love Winnie the Pooh too. God bless you!

me I am hopeless in that kind of creative endeavor.
But give me paper and a pen and I can write poetry
or short stories, I even had a novel completed.I used
to crochet and I did make a crocheted afghan that
was very pretty but wool yarn has gotten so expensive
now days. I used to embroider also but havent done
that lately. My mom was very clever at crochet work.I
can imagine how cute Winnie the Pooh will look. one of
my favorite characters and I am now a senior citizen, winnie
the pooh and Garfield. I even have a Garfield beanie baby lol.

I'm not working on anything in particular, except to make enough money to fly back to Arizona and be with my husband for a while. My husband and I are apart because he's working in Arizona, and I'm in Canada. We miss eachother like crazy!!!

I have a very large blanket that I'm supposed to be working on right now, as I type but I have not gotten to it. I got burned out on it and stopped for a while and then when we moved in this house I forgot to actually look at the ceiling. I assumed all houses in 2008 had lights in the bedroom around here, but I was wrong!
I just got done rearranging my bedroom so that the lamp lights up the section I need to work with and hopefully I will be working on it before long. I would love to get done with it so I can move on to other things.

I just recently finished a Go Green Crochet Bag. It is an online pattern that a friend sent me. It worked up really quickly and I am quite pleased with the results. I made mine in the variegated Fiesta color and would love to make some others as well (holiday gifts in mind LOL). I am not working on anything else right now crochet-wise. I would like to gather some yarn to make my 2 year old a new 'mommy blanket'...I made her 2 when I was preggers with her and now she is too tall for those so she needs a replacement. I am preparing to take on the task of making the Dream Castle for fashion dolls from plastic canvas. I have had the book for years and my oldest daughter wants one so my goal is to get it done for xmas. My husband who also stitches plans to help me. I think thats it in the works for now LOL

I just finished another "kangaroo " blanket which is an 18x18" size for the neonatal babies we do as a church group. This one I made in white with age green stripes every 10-14 row. Then I went back and made leaves and thread roses to go inbetween the green striped rows. I wanted to try it this size to see if I would have the patience to do a large one. NOT! It turned out really pretty but was too time consuming to do for a charity project. I was telling myself only -- (this many) roses left till I got them done! Was SO glad when I finished it!
