I think everyone has lost something at some time only to find it later. The fact that it is something of value makes it worse such as a wallet or an official document. What I normally do is I always put my purse in the same place and then when I change handbags I just get everything that is in the draw. I must admit that on occasion especially when under stress or tired I forget and then the house hunt begins. Fortunately I have always found it in time, so I have never had to cancel and renew documents which are a headache.

dear marketing, I understand that busyness and bad habit of simply dumping important stuff at places which we are not used to put it, very often this could make us to forget where we have left it earlier especially when we need to access it urgently. So to avoid this trouble to be happened again, I always try to put my essential items like wallet, keys and cellphone in a fixed place. I am glad that you had finally found your wallet again after your husband had suffered much inconvenience and difficulty.

It could happen to anyone, to anyone. It happened to me, once. I misplaced it. I really thought I left it out the store...after searching and searching I found it under the bed, hehehehe . I didn't go as far to call my credit card companies or go to the police, but I was about to call the credit card companies....then I finally found it, yeaaaah!

My husband is the one who is always losing stuff! And Im always reminding him to get his wallet, his glasses, his phone. I can't count how many times he has left the house and then come back three or four minuets later to get something he left behind. It happens!!
But...if your just carrying a wallet I suggest carrying a purse its easier to hang on to and large so easier to find in the event you do lose it.

Yes, I had a similar experience. When I was in Thailand, my boyfriend would call me almost everyday. One day he called me and said he wanted to chat. But we didn't have internet connection at home that time so I told him that I have to to the internet shopt. While I was talking to him I was also getting ready to go out. I was looking for my phone and it was nowhere in sight. I went to my room to check and there was no sign of the phone. I checked all counters but no phone. Then I told my boyfriend that my phone was missing only to realize I was talking to him on the phone.

wow....Good thing that you just found it marketing! I have tried to misplace my credit card once and I was sweating a lot..LOL, I ran directly to our secretary to use the phone and call the company and cut off my account...Then, the lady told me that I will receive another card by the following week, I was relieved. After 2 days, I found it in my other purse!LOL, I was just smiling...

I rarely lose track of my handbag but it has happened on occasion. I sympathize as the prevalence of identity theft has made it very scary to lose track of your wallet these days. You said "maybe I lost it again" so it sounds like you have done this before. It might be time for you to develop some sort of habit with your handbag/wallet - make yourself put it in the same spot everytime you enter the house. I have a certain place that I put mine in my bedroom. After a while, this will become a habit for you.

I have gone to get my purse to pay for a Chinese meal only for it not to be in my bag and I was very embarrassed as I couldn't think where it could be. Luckily the man who owns the restaurant has a son who is a friend of my son at school so he said not to worry to pay him when I next saw him. It turned up in the footwell of the car. It must have fallen out of my bag when I turned a corner. I also found it before having to go to the bank to cancel the cards which was good. I am pleased you found yours. Ellie :D

That happened to me just the other day. I was filling out some paperwork for my kids summer program and when I went to get my wallet out of my purse to get their social security card, the wallet was missing. I looked everywhere I could think to look and when I couldn't find it after about 4 hours, I called and cancelled all my cards. It may seem as if I didn't look long enough, but we had been robbed just about 2 weeks before and I wasn't taking any chances. Well, that evening, about 8:30, my son told me he knew exactly where it was and went and got it for me. It was in my bedroom in a box beside my dresser! Yeah, it could happen to anybody!
