Mine would be a paperback of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I value it very much because it is a symbol of our similarities (we both love to read books. It was a present for our 7th monthsary. He actually bought two, one for me and one for him, so that we can simultaneously read the book since we were away from each other. So, what's the best gift you ever received from your partner?

Awww, that's adorable. My favorite book in the whole wide world is the Princess Bride, but that was given to me by a friend several years back for Christmas. :) The best present my boyfriend's ever given me was the best birthday party I've ever had. My parents didn't believe in inviting friends to parties so every year I had a small family celebration. I was expecting the same thing this year with a casual get-together with my friends, but he definitely had something else in mind. The day before, he co-operated with my roommates to gain entry into my house, drove eight of my friends to the house, ordered food from my favorite restaurant, and surprised me with front-row tickets to an awesome performance by Lewis Black, our favorite comedian. It was the perfect night thanks to him, and even if we were to break up tomorrow, I would always be grateful to him for making me feel like a princess. 9 months this June! :)

Wow! Long way to go for the two of you. Me and my boyfriend will be celebrating our 19th monthsary. Time flies really fast. Anyway, i wish he would also surprise me like what he did to yours. That's so sweet of him and really clever. He must have had quite a hard time planning and thinking about what to organize for your birthday. But he did it!

oooh an opportunity to be corny... the best gift I got from my fiance was the gift of looooooove... I don't ask for material things because I love you with all of my heart and I don't want anything else but him...
Besides, it's our money so i'd be like him picking it out and me and him paying for it.. lol.

That's pretty right! hehe..I actually would want to write that too..That the best gift he ever gave me is his love. But i thought it would be quite cheesy to start the discussion with. But i'm glad you made the first move to write it. All the best to you and your fiance!

Since my partner and I have been staying together for many of years, definitely I have received uncountable gifts from him in different stage. Every gift was the best gift and brought different meaning for the time I received it and each of them is still valuable until now.

The assistance that he gives to help raise our 2 son's (not just his presence but his actual input) and my youngest daughter. A lot of fathers don't bother (my daughters father didn't) and this is the greatest gift he could ever give.

My husband bought em an Ipod shuffle the Christmas before last. Being a little older than the tech generation I hardly had a clue what it was but now I can't live without it. I love gardening and have all my favourite songs loaded so am always to be found singing to myself in the garden a wonderful gift and he knows it!

My husband and I are different, and that is putting as nicely as I can. This year for Mother's Day he got me a puzzle. It was so sweet. But the best gift he ever got me was when I was pregnant wiht our son. He went and bought me a back massager and got me a card. I am not an emotional person and even when I was pregnant I wasn't. But that actually brought tears to my eyes. I have many back problems and that was the best thing for it.

There have been several, I guess the first one was a potted plant lol he 'couldn't find any flowers he liked' lol The second was the keys to his mustang gt, and the third was my new camera and printer, to 'upgrade' my scrapbooking lol. However I think at the very top of the list was him sending me a text message that only read 'tkts bought'. He was referring to plane tickets, when he flew 1600 miles for us to meet for the first time and spent his weeks vacation with me (we met online). 2 months later I was moving that 1600 miles for us to be together, that was 3 years ago.

I guess my best gifts are more about feelings and the actual relationship, than things. My best giftsfrom him are his love for me and for my daughter, and the love of his son. His son has become my very precious stepson and my daughter's little brother.

Before my 19th birthday, she asked me what do I want recently. I said this book but I fotget it right away. I was very happy when she gave the book to me. And this is the memoriable gift.

The best gift that my partner gave me is a frame with my name on it and a poem. We were in this gift shop and we saw this frame. He thought I was going to buy it because it's so rarely that you find an item where your name is written, moreso, with a poem about your name. I didn't buy it; I just looked at it. I was surprised because as we were about to go out of the shop he approached the counter and paid for the frame. Then he gave it to me and said "That's your name on it. I won't let that pass."
