Do you buy the all time favorite... popcorn and soda... or do you prefer the less conventional type of food while watching movies... some people prefer candy, crackers, potato chips, or they even bring their own pizza inside the movie house...
In my case... every time i go to the movies... which is always during lunch time... i always buy MacDonald's cheeseburger, large french fries, and a large coke... sometimes i instead of the cheeseburger... i buy chicken nuggets... that that will be considered as my lunch already...
I love eating while watching a movie...

Popcorn with butter and a coke . Popcorn at the movies always is so much better . If in a candy mood i will have candy .When i was a kid my mom would put snacks in her purse . One time there was a couple who ate burger king there .

Usually a large popcorn with extra butter, large coke with ice and some type of candy. Sometimes, if I didn't eat before the movie, I buy a large hotdog.

Now and days the food at the movies is so we usally just take our own snacks. But if I was to buy I would get popcorn with extra butter and nachos and something to drink.

Hello-I've been around for a while but don't log on much. But thanks for the welcome.
Another name for sno-caps are non-pareils...they remind me of my grandmother-they aren't around much any more:(.
Little drops of semi-sweet chocolate covered with little white candy balls.

Twizzlers are really yummy fruity licorice! The strawberry flavor is the most popular, but they do have cherry flavor and I've even tasted chocolate! And thanks!

We just have regular popcorn, candy
and soda at our movie theatres.
They don't allow full blown meals.
If they did, I'd buy the chicken
nuggets. They sound good.

Hello aseretdd,
Me too! I enjoy watching movies and eating junk food at the same time *laughs* Since there is a strict regulation that you can only buy and bring food that you buy from the cinema food operator, I always bring in popcorn (light and sweet) and a big size Coke. Normally I finished up the snack before the movie even started *laughs* I love to watch trailers and make it a point to enter once they allow us to enter the theater hall, and sit and talk and eat...before the movie starts...

I love pepsi and red vines.
One of my dumb things I did? I volunteered to offer to buy 8 kids snacks if the other person bought tickets.
Big mistake! These weren't little kids but teens-LOL
I was amazed on how much I spent and the cost of candy and sodas, pop corn, pretzels, corn dogs ect...
Even the movies? $9.50???

When i go to the movies with my family (niece, nephews, parents, siblings) always offer to buy the tickets... so that my other adult companion will be compelled to buy the snacks... snacks cost more especially if there are a lot in the group... even if most are kids... thanks for the response...

I used to have lunch at a moviehouse also hahaha. This was way back when we just wanted to rush into a movie because at noon time there aren't a lot of people yet. We don't want to be standing watching half of the movie especially if it's a blockbuster. We've experienced this a lot of times with Harry Potter and LOTR trilogy.
But nowadays I make sure I had my lunch already before going in. I just buy the bottled water. I don't like to eat popocorn really because I don't like getting distracted by having to wipe the cheese powder from my hands.

In my case... if the movie is considered as a blockbuster... i wait a few weeks before watching it... since i don't like it when the movie theater is too crowded... people moving around distracts me from understanding the film... thanks for the response...
