My star is blue or at least was the last time I looked. The color comes from how people rate your responses, discussions, and comments. Some may reach 100 posts and have some other color star.

the basis of having the star is not depend on the number of your post because some users when they reached 100 they got green star, red star stand for your ratings that range from 89-95 or in between this bracket. you are lucky you got red star even you have less post. next step or goal is to reached blue color star with number 10 inside.

Well,yes as you have rightly said,one must have a minimum of 100 posts,to get a star. The star denotes the amount the other fellow mylotters agree with you and are benefited by your response. So,having a higher star is just an added happiness. However,the star rating doesn't affect your earnings in any way. At present I am having a yellow star.Its already 85/100.A few positive ratings will change it to red star. I am eagerly waiting for that. Cheers! Have a good day Happy mylotting and happy earnings
