Our cat's so cute and funny. Unfortunately she passed away 5months ago. Very sad indeed but I try to think of her cute moments. The only time she liked to sit on my lap, was when I sat on the toilet to do No. 2. So funny. Sorry to be in so much details. he he. Anyway, when winter's here, at least she kept my legs nice and warm while I was going to the toilet. She's nice and comfortable too - most of the time she would close her eyes and about to fall asleep. ha ha ha. Cute Fluffy. Her name's called 'Fluffy' by the way. She's a white persian cat - very white and fluffy. :-)

Oliver climbs on my chest to get in my face. Taj runs into my front room (a cat free zone) and climbs all over me, but doesn't do that in the rest of the house.
In fact, few of our cats sit in our laps, probably because we don't have much lap for them.

Sorry to hear of your cat's passing...it is never an easy thing to go through. :(
One of my cats loves to sit on me whenever I am eating a bowl of cereal...probably waiting to drink the milk.
Another one of my cats like to sit on me when she is cold.
My special kitty enjoys sitting on my lap when I'm sitting in my chair while being on the computer.

That is so funny. My cat likes to drink out of the toilet after we have flushed it. YUCK! Even though he has his water dish he loves toilet water. I cat sits on my usually when I am doing something else with my hands. Typing on the computer, writing notes, or reading. My daughter it is when she is doing homework. I guess he doesn't like it when we are not focused on him. HEHE

LOL. This's funny too. That's very cute that he loves to sit on your lap while you're on your computer and etc. I remember Fluffy sometimes jumped on our lap while we were on our PC but didn't stay long because once she saw us typing (our hands are moving), then she couldn't resist and would want to attack our hands. I think because she probably thought our hands are mice or something?! :-)
