I love banana bread and am making some right this moment. I have also been known to favor pumpkin bread. As for store bought, I am a muligrain girl.
What about you?
Do you have a favorite recipe?
My banana bread:
3 bananas overripe to the point of being mushy
1 stick butter, melted
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine first five ingredients until egg is just mixed in. Then in a different bowl, combine last three ingredients. Make a well and pour banana mixture into it. Gently fold and stir until ingredients are well incorporated.
Spray a bread pan with nonstick spray. Pour batter into it and bake for 45 mins to 1 hour, checking middle for doneness.

Hi, I like the sound of these sweeter breads. I can neer be bothered to make my own to be honest. In terms of shop bought stuff, I love granary bread or any other multi-grain type. If I'm having bread rolls I like wholemeal ones.

I love the multi grain too. If you have to eat bread, might as well be healthy about it. I like it better than whole wheat for instance.

French is always nice. We use that for garlic bread whenever we have it.
